SpringHill Suites by Marriott Harrisburg Hershey

We have stayed here three times, and all three times it rained. Really weird. Good stay, nice rooms, good breakfast.

Room was clean and spacious, but early in the morning, it sounded like elephants were parading on the floor above. Would recommend choosing the top floor.

The hotel is nice, but the bathroom is the smallest I've ever seen, to the point of being claustrophobic. If a pocket bathroom is not an issue, the room will work nicely for you. However, if you're looking for some elbow room, you'll want to upgrade our look elsewhere.

Every single employee was FANTASTIC! That being said, however, the rooms left much to be desired. At least one of my colleagues had to immediately request a different room due to uncleanliness. A few others (including me) had to change rooms due to the extreme noise - all night long - from I-81. The rooms on that side should be equipped with heavier windows and/or noise buffering curtains. Earplugs are actually offered pursuant to a tiny note on the nightstand, which I noticed while I was tossing and turning. They should be standard issue in the road-side rooms. I finally got a little sleep by burying my head under a pillow. I would love to return to this facility because of the EXCELLENT customer service I experienced from at least 5 different staff there, but I value my sleep too much. I certainly hope this property can correct the noise issue.

The room is clean and spacious. Great location. The bartender Mike is awesome. Highly recommended.

Very clean. Separate water closet, which was nice. Very quiet. Can't even tell you're near a very loud highway until you step outside. Hot breakfast buffet and make your own waffles. Friendly staff.

So I made a reservation through my Marriott app and the cost was 156 all inclusive. However when I got to the hotel, they charged me $180 just for incidentals. I asked why they charged $180 for incidentals versus just keeping my card on file, they said it would be reimbursed after check out. I have never heard of this, in addition, I had a corporate discount which they could not figure out how to adjust so therefore I had to call the one 800 number with the manager to get that corrected. Long story short I got charged $129 and $180 for the same room so add it up, no normally I love Marriott hotels however, this location is far from a three star hotel. If I can, I will upload photos of just me walking from my room to the front desk and the pool and from the photos you’ll see that there is so much work that needs to be done. In addition, the hotel photos, nowhere, reflect the actual hotel. For example, the pool in the photos showed a beautiful streaming waterfall/shower from the ceiling. However, when I went to the pool, not only was a pool cold is a polar bear would love, but the cascading shower only had six nozzles working.in addition this hotel specifically this hotel is in an area that most restaurants close at 9 PM or maybe even 10 I had actually ordered something from Grubhub an Asian restaurant locally and unfortunately not Marriott‘s fault, but GrubHub stated they delivered the food to the hotel, but it never did actually arrive so therefore that was another issue with Grubhub so if you are one who enjoys a later night, dinner meeting, anytime after 8 PM, I would not choose this location because most of the restaurants in this area close at 9 PM not only for dine in but also for delivery through services such as GrubHub or DoorDash I would say avoid this hotel in this area and just look for other accommodations because this hotel is way over priced for the location. The room quality in the hotel is greatly outdated.

Try to imagine, you come from a long journey you come into the hotel and they tell you your rate just changed. To my understanding, changes were made 2 weeks ago that led to this. But when I asked where these changes were listed, there was no knowledge of where it was on the Mariott website I used.

I ve been using Mariott for years. I used it in New York, Canada, Virginia, West Virginia, and DC, Miami, but never had any issues. But this is one that left me with enough of a bad taste. I called CS, and they told me there was nothing They could do. So this will be my last stay with the Mariott brand.
Too bad they couldn't help me.

Worst marriot ever stayed. Reception lady should be trained a bit, no hi, no welcome at check in, room was very tiny. Breakfast was ordinary. These hotels are deceiving people by carrying a particular brand name. I will be double cautious befor booking with Marriot again.

Because my business event is located less than five minutes from here, I decided to stay at the Springhill suites by Marriott Harrisburg-Hershey. While I know the Marriott brand has a suite of nice hotel options, I must say that I am really impressed with this hotel. From entering, the parking lot the feeling and looks are very clean and safe. Once you enter the facility, the decor seems very trendy, spacious and clean. The front desk person was extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely plan to stay here when and if I am ever in the Harrisburg area in the future.

We stayed here during our trip to Hershey Park (about a 30 minute drive away). The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was nice and just the right size for a family of five. The layout was a little different from what I'm used to (the room with the toilet is separate from the one with the shower). The beds and sheets were clean and comfy; but the swimming pool was small. It didn't really matter since most of the time we spent at the Park (Hershey).

The breakfast they had was good. I had scrambled eggs with salsa, pork sausage, and mini waffles with strawberry, chocolate chips, brown sugar, and shredded coconut.

For the amount we paid, I'd recommend this place to others.

NO JACUZZI, NARROW 6 FT POOL 15 FT LONG and SHALLOW. TUB ONLY IN THE HANDICAP ROOM. NOT WORTH IT

Cool hotel but it's getting to the point it needs a refresh. Might have just been our room but definitely not up to the cleanliness of the brand.

Hotel is on the pricey side for what they offer, breakfast area is too small for the amount of guest staying at the hotel. The person In charged was having a hard time keeping stuff stacked because of the amount of people with hotel should have extended breakfast an extra hour to avoid such a rush when hotel is close to capacity. Last day there was some people scream up and down the hall way, fighting. My room view was the entrance hotel entrance roof. Room door was bad so I had to force door shut everytime I went in and out, the whole wall would shack. Stayed 5 nights.

Nice location. Breakfast is always a bonus; Janet did an incredible job of taking care of us. She was working the kitchen and breakfast line mostly alone on the 4th of July, not the usual situation. Other staff came to help at points too. Nice property. Clean, neat, and easy to get to. Janet, thanks again for your service this past Tuesday. Great job.

Scott the GM and Ben at the front desk hit it out of the park. They went out of their way to be more than accommodating due to some unforeseen circumstances.

Honestly if I could give them lower than a one star I would. This hotel wronged me and my family so much I can’t even explain it. We confirmed the booking with the hotel at 5pm because we were driving from out of state and would be reaching at 11. They said they would have the room ready. Then, the hotel said that they had given the room to someone else. With a family of 8,4 kids including an infant, this hotel did not even want to talk to us. They moved us to Hilton, which gave us a lot of hassle and led us to stay up till 2am. We were staying in town to go to the Hershey Choclate factory, but our trip got ruined because of this hassle. Even when I asked for some sort of money back, this hotel did not want to give back anything, saying that we accepted the offer to stay at Hilton. There was a HUGE price difference between Hilton and this hotel and I am so disappointed on how this hotel could wrong a common man. It took be more than 5 calls to get to the desk just to file my complaint. I mean that they picked up the phone, and after I explained my situation, they said please hold, and then ended the call. They were refusing to let me talk to the manager didn’t even get a dime back.

Convenient location tucked away in a small, quiet business park. Good breakfast selections and friendly staff. Some furnishings, decor and fitness equipment look worn; hotel could use a refresh to modernize the facility.

I went to stay at Penn Harris hotle aviod that place at all cost. Ended up coming here, and athan was amazing turned our trip around. Dealing with an unfriendly staff to some who cared was a great improvement. Not to mention, having a working pool and a real hot shower was nice. Come here, you won't regret it! Stayed here instead of an already paid room at Penn Harris. The extra money was well worth it!
