I called for a stay at this hotel and when I called I got yelled at and told that I’m not allowed to stay there because I sound “fat”. I’m very confused at this and I’m not sure why I got treated like this. I tried to come in and talk about it but before I got through the door they told me that I surpassed the weight limit and need to immediately turn around before I break the whole hotel.

I think I could not have made a better choice than this one, the staff is very friendly, the rooms are comfortable and clean. The location is perfect if you plan to go to Sesame Place as it is just a few steps across the street.

Breakfast is acceptable for all ages and saves time to plan your day, and there are many shops, pharmacies and restaurants around.

I recommend it and I think I would repeat the visit. Book now!

The location is perfect for Sesame Place, especially if you have littles who still nap. The staff were all very friendly, and all the most important things were clean. But you can tell a lot of kids stay there- the hotel furnishings are in need of a refresh. Still a good place to stay with kids, though.

First and foremost if it wasn't for Austin front desk "EVERYTHING" the stay would be 1 star. That guy took care of everything, from my reservation to getting extra pillows and blankets which he took to my room. That guy is like Marriot superman in my eyes
My entire stay I would see him alone and at times I would see him handling large group with the upmost professionalism with perfect customer service and politeness. This guy needs a raise. I was there 2 days and he handle everything including making coffee when they ran out. The rooms where mediocre. The place is a bit old but if I knew Austin was there I wouldn't hesitate to book again. To Marriot Management he needs help and give him a raise.

The corners of the couch was all torn up. The handheld shower head was COVERED in disgusting grime (see picture). The room fridge wasn’t cold. My husband had to go back down to the main desk TWICE in the (less than) 24 hrs we were staying there because the room keycard stopped working. The $16/day parking is less than Sesame Place’s $30 parking but honestly not worth the hassle.

Was surprised by the $15 parking fee per vehicle with two suites at $368 each. I never experienced this except in a city where off site parking. The app didn't reflect this although the Web site did which out I found later. The staff was pleasant and helpful, rooms clean and nice.
The pool didn't feel heated and Jacuzzi out of service not sure for how long.
Great location for Sesame Place easy walk maybe that's why they have parking fee.

Perfect location for sesame place. It's literally around the corner, so you also avoid sesame parking fees AND since you have re entry with a stamp, you can take a small child back to the room for nap time and go back the rest of the day.

It was great that the room had a microwave and fridge, target is close by and one of the days we chose to just grab some heat and go dinner.

They definitely have a lot of pack n play cribs. We didn't use one but I saw them.

Downsides, for a place aimed at small children/toddlers, there were a lot of head height sharp corners, all the plugs were not covered, and I couldn't get a plug for the bath (or get it to plug?). Showering a 2 year old is.fun.

Breakfast was fine. But we have a egg and gluten allergy in the family, so we generally couldn't eat much. There was yogurt and bacon. No fruit. No potatoes. A lot of breads, waffles, eggs and gummy probably not gf oatmeal. Like I said target is close by.

Pool was fine, very cold. Only improvement overall that I would love is a small play structure for the down time - the day you arrive/leave it would be a nice energy/time killer.

All these notes are just a heads up. We had a pleasant stay, the staff were super helpful and we know what to expect and how to prepare next time.

Clean well-maintained room, friendly helpful staff, raucous breakfast as everyone got ready for a day at Sesame Place! This was a great choice for our family, thank you so much to the staff!

Positive: Staff is really nice. Negatives: rooms are not clean, multiple light bulbs out, stained carpets, missing buttons in elevators etc.

Very nice hotel. Located just outside of the gates of Sesame Place. Big spacious rooms that were very clean upon arrival. Room only comes with 2 towels so if you have more than 2 in your party either call ahead or ask for more towels when you check in. Very Very kid friendly in the lobby area. Coloring pages, kids shows on the tvs and they even had cookies in the afternoon/ evening. Hotel staff was very welcoming and friendly. Very professional also. They do make you pay $15 per day parking if you're staying at the hotel. Breakfast was very nice, when there wasn't 500 kids free reigning the selections. The breakfast staff I'm sure is overwhelmed every day. But we had no major issues with the breakfast menu or area.

Location of this place is what makes it. Being walking distance to sesame place is why you stay here. Check in being at 4 pm is hard with a small child, so when we went to check In at 5pm and was told our room was not ready it was a little annoying. We were told that a room was available but was not near our friends who we came with. This was no big deal so we took the room only to bring all our stuff up to a completely unclean room. So we have to go back down to be moved to another room. As adults this is annoying but with a toddler it was very difficult after a day at the park. The hot tub was out of service and for breakfast there was a sign out of eggs. I'm hoping things get better.

The front desk attendants, while took very nice care of me, were not professional at all. The one lady at the desk actually got into a verbal altercation with a guest while I was in the lobby seating area. The rooms smelled like musty/soggy water almost on the verge of urine so I had to be transferred to a less smelly room. There were large stains all over the sofa in room. All the furniture in the lobby and main area were beyond filthy. One of my colleagues rooms had no towels at all and the base of the shower had a bunch of soap piled up on it. The market fridges were out of water and were nearly empty.

We booked the hotel through Sesame Place website. The hotel was clean, quite, had outdoor seatings, and great staff. The breakfast lady was very attentive, very friendly, and very helpful! Rooms were clean ad specious! It was a 5 mins walk to Sesame Place which was great as we were able to go back to the hotel for my daughter’s nap then come back to Sesame Place! The only thing is the most rooms need to be updated like new paint and new furniture.

Manager Melissa Thomas and/or Shaneka Rolle knocked on my room's door around midnight, claiming to be housekeeping, then came in, left and walked down the hall. I was sleeping and this woke me up. I came out of the room and asked her what is going on. She said I wasn't in the checked into the system, even though I extended my stay the morning before and received an updated key card then. There are several issues here:

- Manager lied – she’s not housekeeping and had no housekeeping equipment

- I was disturbed from my sleep – this was in the middle of the night. Surely, they could have called, texted, email or knocked in the morning?

- My privacy was invaded

- Hotel staff cannot keep track of occupancies and vacancies

Fortunately I am a single man from NJ and not traveling with small children (this hotel is adjacent to Sesame Place so many guests are young families) & I am not from Texas or a state with similar castle doctrine type laws. I am traveling for business.

I have traveled to 100s of hotels my life, mostly for business, from shady motel to grand resort – NEVER has my room been invaded by staff in the middle of the night. This is disturbing.

I will never stay at this hotel again. Room was typical (shower door leaks water all over floor, sink drain doesn't work well) but staff is TERRIBLE.

This place is great if you are going to Sesame Place. Parking is $15 a day (get your permit from the front desk), and there is a walkway that gets you to Sesame Place in less than 5 minutes. There are other hotel options that may be cheaper and slightly further, but either no shuttle to SP available or no sidewalk/path.

I had requested for early check in, and it was nice of them to email me in the morning and let me know it wasn't possible. We parked the car at the hotel, went to Sesame Place, and then came back at the end of the day to check in with no issues.

The hotel is small and the rooms are run down (musty smell, stains on the carpet, old couches). Pull out bed is very uncomfortable. Sink is tiny and drained very slowly. And no bathtub for the kids. Our toilet wasn't flushing, but they promptly came up and fixed it. Staff was polite and friendly.

I’m so happy the manager at a sister location was very rude and unprofessional that I went across the street to this hotel and the staff was top tier, checked me in very fast, was very friendly and most of all professional. If you ever stay here please look out for Teheira or Melissa they are the best any companies can have. When I’m in the area I will always make this my place to stay

Place really sucks: room never cooled down. Housekeeping really sucked as well.people behind the desk were ok. The pool never open… came here with a few other coworkers spent lots of money to stay for the time we stayed. Totally not worth it. Will be reaching out to corporate.

Great place to stay with the kids if you’re planning to go to Sesame Place. You can walk right over to it. ALSO! Hannah is an actual saint. She was so kind to my children, answered all of our questions, and filled all our requests. She walked blankets and pillows up to our room. Truly such a sweetheart!
