SpringHill Suites by Marriott State College reviews
13The staff went above and beyond for our toddler that made our stay memorable. At breakfast they provided pictures and crayons to color. Also, the front desk provided fish food to feed the koi in the pond out front. Absolutely lovely staff, thank you!
Super clean, well maintained hotel. Good location. Heating unit was very loud and beds were not comfortable.
My hotel suite was well appointed and spotlessly clean. Special requests placed in room prior to arrival. The hotel also offers a full hot breakfast. I've never had a bad stay at this property.
Looking forward to my next trip!
Spent the weekend here. Good location next to parkway. It was clean and well kept. We reserved a room with two doubles but got one king and a pullout. Not sure hownthay happens but it was more of a big deal tod my daughter than I. They have HBO and Netflix, it was a nice surprise even if we didn't spend much time in the room. Mediocre continental breakfast. Overall good for a mid teir hotel.
As a level 3 pull-out-couch sleeper, the couch was a 4/10. Shower was MID. Breakfast was below MID.
The hotel is conveniently located close to campus and the downtown and shopping areas. There are four restaurants in easy walking distance. The hotel is well appointed, immaculate, and the rooms are very comfortable. Even the elevators are quiet and/or the rooms are pretty well sound insulated. Getting a good night's sleep is not a problem. The staff is unfailingly attentive and friendly. Breakfast is hot, and for being included - much better than the current average offering. Scrambled eggs, sausage, make-your-own waffles, as well as the usual pre-packaged and dry goods. My go-to choice when staying in State College.
Nice place, but they seem to have forgotten that they are related to Marriott. That bed was hard!
Great place to stay when visiting Penn State. Modern, clean, comfy, no-frills kind of hotel. There's a free buffet breakfast with the usual items like make-your-own waffles, chafing dishes of powdered scrambled eggs and colorless sausage patties but they're edible and free, so no complaints. There's complimentary hot coffee in the jumbo canisters all day and there was a large crock pot of clam chowder late afternoon in the lobby, which I didn't try but it was available and complimentary. The rooms are suites and I like having the extra space. Everything was neat and clean. Great location close to the highway and near restaurants, convenience store, gas station. Quick drive into Penn State. Would definitely stay here again.
The location is absolutely incredible! The close proximity to restaurants is amazing and makes it easy to decide where to go especially in today's gas prices. The rooms are pretty nice and the front desk is amazing and so helpful!
We stayed here for one day. The room was way bigger than we thought it would be. Bathroom was also very nice. Elevator was very modern and the breakfast was very tasty it is also near all the restaurants so it is good to stay here.
Best hotel in state college area if you don't wanna pay downtown prices free breakfast also!
Room was very clean, employee at check in was very helpful and polite. Had a complimentary hot breakfast.
This place was very comfortable. I was expecting at least a microwave in the room. Overall really nice.
