As a now FORMER patient with chronic pain they are absolutely ignorant and uneducated on how to treat chronic pain. St lukes has gone down hill in general. The staff is rude and won't listen to a patients objectives. Forget going for any help for Rheumatoid Arthritis, Even if it's for short term pain. Doctors send you here only to be insulted. BTW, they will confuse Rhuematoid Arthristis with Fibromyalgia. Thank God there are others that have a better understanding.

This review is in regards to billing.

THEY ARE NOT TRANSPARENT HOW THEY BILL. The epidural procedure is billed under a surgical center. When you arrive, the offices appear as ONE practice. However, the offices bill under a surgical center on the other side if you are treat with an epidural. I was even TOLD the procedure didn't require a hospital location. ". It is performed here in our offices"'. The words were OFFICES.
I have NEVER been billed unexpectedly from any medical doctor/facility.

I spoke to their offices regarding my complaint. Bottom line is "tough! Pay it". No matter how nicely it is said, it equals that. I don't have the energy to chase this "wrong". I figure a review lasts forever.side note: the staff is wonderful! I loved the doctor (s). I wish I could recommend them. I feel THIS IS SIMPLY POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE.

Not pleased at all with this office. I reached out because my pcp wanted me to transfer to a pain management office to help find or origin of my pain. I figured it was an easy choice because I also happen to be an employee of St. Lukes. I had an appointment scheduled and then was called and told that the Doctor looked over my records, which was a lie because they had no records, and told me that they “felt” that a nurse practitioner would be a “ better fit” but that I couldn’t get in until over a month later. And then to add insult to injury, the secretary snidely said that we don’t prescribe medication here. The problem is all of these pain management offices automatically assume anyone who reaches out to them are pill popping junkies and for the ones, like myself, who just want my paint to go away we are lumped I to that population and treated very poorly. I would highly suggest you go to a different location.

Excellent CRNP and established office staff. New office staff member or nurse not sure absolutely rude, accusatory, makes assumptions and doesn’t even know you! And they were in the wrong and messed up but try to accuse the patient! A total disgrace!
