3When I first moved to harrisburg I joined holy name on Allentown boulevard because it was equi distant to my apartment. However, I chose to attend mass at margaret mary once and found it quite peaceful. I don't know anybody in the parish. They haven't been welcoming at all. But, I love the campus, especially the outdoor stations of the cross on the hill. Very simple and tranquil church to worship in. The priest appears amiable and friendly. I enjoyed the midnight mass this year. I'd recommend attending here. It's a nice parish. And, it's very multicultural. Reminds me in that way of my hometown parish
Very welcoming Church. Priest gave an amazing homily and treated the consecration with genuine reverence you dont see much of any more.
Attended Mass here while visiting Harrisburg. The priest (Fr. Leo, I think?) was so personable and friendly and he had a wonderful homily. Felt very welcomed.
