Stanglein Veterinary Clinic, Northampton PA

We had a negative experience with a *different* vet in our area which led me to asking for a recommendation from our pet sitter, which led us to Stanglein.
Our pets have now been going to Stanglein for about a year and we have had nothing but very positive experiences. All the vets we have seen (Dr. Terry, Dr. Nate, Dr. Suzanne) have been knowledgable and skilled. They have never rushed through a visit and have always been thorough and are great at explaining the situation with our pets to us.
The reception is friendly and communicative. They answer all our questions when we call, fill all our orders for scripts or prescription food, and are upfront about our costs.
This vet is also much more affordable than the other vet we had seen. Stanglein's visits are not overpriced, they always discuss costs before proceeding with any procedures, and they never push unnecessary things on us. I will pay any amount of money to keep our pets healthy and well, but when Stanglein charges affordable prices, I know that they are in it because they CARE about pets.
The vet we were previously going to has a very big facility and a roomy waiting room with custom art installations on the wall. But all that is paid for with overpriced visits and unnecessary procedures.
Stanglein isn't huge - but it's spotless and it's run by and with great, quality vets.

I had to euthanize my cat recently and requested an in-home procedure. Debbie, the hospice nurse, and Dr. Suzanne came within 24 hours to do it. They were so caring and compassionate, and it was wonderful to have him pass away at home in his loving environment. Thank you so much for the love and attention you gave him and myself at this very stressful time.

Don't like not being able to go inside. Tech was excellent today (sorry don't remember her name) "WE" had an emergency appoint.today and DR. Terry was excellent.knows my dog's history. Thank U

At first my experiences were bad. In the past year it seems the staff has been a lot nicer than they have in the past.

Not being able to go inside, because of the virus is frustrating for both pet and human. I hope that policy will change soon.

Hands-down best vet practice you can find. Compassionate, highly skilled vets, kind and well-educated vet techs and helpful and efficient front desk managers. Also very respectful of client's financial situation. Always take conservative approach that focuses on animal's health & well-being, not their bottom line. Their integrity is obvious and appreciated.

Extremely friendly and affordable. We use to go to Cummings in easton, the last time we were there they told me my dog needed a sedative before coming in again. I called Stanglein and even with covid they were able to get me in pretty quickly. My dog normally is exhausted after leaving the vet. She came home super energetic and her normal self. I don't know what they do bc of covid restrictions but I do know that she is so super happy. Best decision ever to switch vets.

I didnt give 5 stars because the wait was a little long. But other than that, it's a great animal hospital. The staff is caring and compassionate. The doctors are knowledgeable and taken their time with you.

All of the team members are to be commended on their additional efforts/measures taken during the pandemic. I especially appreciate Dr. Nate coming out to my car and discussing tests needed and the treatment plan. You are all very much appreciated by me and my dog

Everyone is friendly, understanding, and super helpful! My family has gone here for years and they've been great with every major and minor healthcare need for our pets.

Going there forever, sometimes very good visits other times not so much but over all I'd recommend Stanglein vet.

I have been taking my pets to Stanglein for 24 years. I have moved and still travel about 45 minutes to get there. There are closer vets to me, but I love this practice. My current rescue is an unsure pup, but they are gentle and understanding with her! I won't go anywhere else.

I've been taking my pets to Stanglein for 20 years. The staff and vets are amazing. I applaud the work they're doing to make pets less stressful. I highly recommend Stanglein.

Dr. Terry is wonderful, as are Dr. Nate and Dr. Lucy. The entire staff see very helpful and compassionate. I've been bringing my pets here for over twenty years and would never think of going anywhere else.

Love this vet. Great with animals, My dog is a bundle of nerves and one of my cats is a ball of seething hatred but they are well taken care of here whenever we go. Staff takes their time and actually gets to know their patients.

We've been bring our dogs here for a few years now. My boys don't exactly enjoy going to the vet, but this office is great with them. My pit mix used to need a muzzle to be examined, and they have gotten him to the point where he just walks back without an issue and even licks their hands and faces. It's truly amazing to see how much he trusts them.

I cannot think of any way to improve the care my pets receive at Stanglein Veterinary Clinic. All personnel are friendly, concerned, patient, kind. They care about both the animals and their owners.
