It’s a pretty two mile walk to tunnel and two moles back. There is an audio tour that makes you feel like you started at the wrong side but you didn’t. The start with the museum is more than 15 min drive - bring a flashlight to see inside carvings better than with a cell phone flash

2 mile flat walk from parking lot. Chemical toilets. VERY clean. No running water bring your own drinks.

Nice tunnel, a good walk from the parking area. Kind of a short bike ride. Just under five miles round trip.

Always a nice walk in any season! Tunnel is very impressive, especially knowing it was the first railroad tunnel in the U. S.
