Starbucks, Philadelphia PA

I’ve been here several times but today was the nail in the coffin for this location. Normally it is quite a long wait since they process a level number of mobile orders but today it took over 40 minutes to get a hot tea. You can’t get anyone’s attention because 4 people are trying to do the work of 6-8 people. I could see my hot tea in the process of being made, abandoned for 10 minutes while the person making it had to tend to the register, and then dropped behind the counter and left for another 10 minutes before someone decided to hand out the orders back there. When I finally got it, they’d splashed coffee into the cup first by mistake and apparently tried to dump it and just reuse the cup because it was tea that tasted like coffee. So after waiting 40 minutes, I had to go back and have them remake it. Every other order I place at this store is not made correctly and, considering it is hot tea with cream, that is ridiculous. This store is constantly too busy and understaffed or they have the worst workflow system of any Starbucks I’ve been in.

The 4 people working there spent more time chopping up ice than waiting on the customers orders. I had to ask for my mobile order and then they made it incorrectly.

I go to starbucks everyday this location i’ve been to many times and each time the customer service is not as hospitable as they should be. Each time my coffee comes back incorrect because they move too fast. They are face paced because of their location, but they rush the drinks and shouldn’t. My coffee is less coffee and more milk. I never take my coffee with so much creamer and they didn’t even try to fix it.

Add 10-15 minutes to whatever the mobile ordering app estimates because they seem to always be running way behind and under-staffed. Sad thing is that the 39th Street location is just as bad.

Today inside this Starbucks I fell down the stairs inside (using a cane too/prosthetic). It was so hard my shoe flew off. Employees saw and did nothing. While still laying on the floor I asked for a chair (to put my shoe back on). They said "You're not allowed to sit inside". They eventually (seemed reluctantly) brought over a chair when they saw I had a prosthetic foot. Nobody asked if I was ok. So in a nutshell.customer service at this location is horrific.:/

Unprofessional staff and bad customer service! I ordered online using the application. I waited half an hour in store and then they told me that we haven't received your order! The worst part was that he told me I cannot give you a coffee now if you order again, you need to wait (maybe another 30 mins) to get your order! Such a big mess in store.

It’s in university city next to upenn and drexel and only 2 employees working. I order online and always have to wait for 15 minutes to get my order

This is a bad place to come right now. The manager thinks she is in a military unit. She talks a lot and do nothing. People waiting for coffee and she just cares of anything else and not the waiting time for clients.
Updating as 03/05/2021 this coffee shop is a disaster. Please @starbucks when are you going to do something about it?

It really depends on who was the cashier. One morning a very rude cashier told me that I had to stand where I was and I wasn’t ALLOWED to move after I finished ordering my coffee. Her reasons being if I moved around then I would disrupt the social distances between other customers. I totally get that but I was the ONLY customer at the store, and honestly I don’t think she gets to tell me what I’m allowed to do or not. What a way to ruin your morning.

Bad starbucks location. Unprofessional staff and also they used regular coffee for my cold brew coffee. Tasted really bad and gave me an awful stomach ache.

Exceedingly and unnecessarily rude. Will not visit this location again. It was a female staff member. Probably the manager of the store. Seems like a pattern.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who experienced the disgusting displays of customer service from the female cashier. Get a grip. If you have time, travel to the starbucks on 39th and Walnut. They are wonderful. Truly hope this one gets shut down

The customer service was disgusting. The employee I was with was incredibly rude and disrespectful. The second they saw someone they knew come in, their personality did a 180° and was nice to them.

Just got my drink today. The girl taking my order was rude. Since she wore a mask, I couldn’t hear what she asked me. Then she gave me an attitude. She rolled her eyes and not friendly at all from the beginning. All staffs are not friendly. Bad service.

No point in ordering ahead if you have to wait for everyone in front of you to leave the store. Rude staff. Won’t go again

The cashier (cant remember her name) I'd so personable and definitely an asset to the company. I have never met someone who loves what she does and made me laugh the whole time.

The woman working at this Starbucks has been incredibly rude every single time I go in there. She yells and screams and always has an attitude. I understand there are specific guidelines we need to follow right now due to the pandemic but yelling at people within the store is not the way to handle that.

The customer service at this starbucks was horrible. The people working there made me not want to go again. The disrespect I received from them was disgusting. The employees were also so slow at making the drinks.
