Starbucks, Mechanicsburg PA

I honestly rarely ever write reviews but this incident really rubbed me the wrong way. I was in last Sunday and while my drink was great, the atmosphere, because of one woman, was not. As soon as I walked up to the line I saw an older employee yelling at one of the younger blonde employees about how she was not allowed to eat her sandwhich in her apron, but she did not even give the girl time to take it off before yelling at her. I remember her also saying something about talking to her later about it, even though she had already been yelled at infront of the store. This was very off putting for me as it was very loud and infront of customers. This very well could have been handled quietly and kindly in the back. This woman, whose name is Gwenann, then walked behind the counter to serve me and she was very passive agressive with me. I did not have another interaction with her, but I did see the girl who was yelled at eating and I felt incredibly bad for her. I have worked in the service industry for many years, and if you can’t be kind and respectful to your coworkers and customers, then you shouldn’t be in this industry.

This is the slowest Starbucks I've ever been to. I purposely go out of my way to the starbucks on Winding Hill because that extra 15 minutes is still saved time.

After spending the day visiting nursing homes and spreading holiday cheer, he thoroughly enjoyed the pup cup! Thank you! ️

Was at the drive trough-line was not moving-went inside and was never asked if I need anything-after 5 minutes waiting I asked to speak with manager-his name is Christian -explained situation, he was not helpful-I did not need sarcastic comments so I walked out.

The workers here make the long lines in the drive thru worth the wait! Very polite and professional.

This is a pretty solid Starbucks. The staff doesn’t go above and beyond like other Starbucks, but they are accurate in their drinks and overall friendly.

Not really sure what happened after they remodeled but have had many drinks made pretty carelessly which sucks when you pay 6$ for a coffee. Will be going to the one in target from now on. Don't recommend this location

Placed order via mobile app and arrived at the drive-thru less than 5 minutes later. Entire order was ready upon arrival. Very minimal wait, as I was 3rd car in the drive-thru line. Quick and very polite transaction. Entire order was made correctly and the crew members were customer service oriented.

This hiring manager has to be extremely prejudice. He ask me in for an interview and said I need help. I called him numerous times then he said oh I will shoot you an email because he had no reason to not give me the job plus I have worked at Starbucks previously. Then I see in my email you have not been selected why when you have terrible reviews and people are dissatisfied with the drinks? Maybe you want your customers to have nasty drinks.

Honestly, I need to try somewhere else not here I probably would be unhappy anyway. That’s his lost moving on.

Order accuracy is decent - but I come to find that this location prioritizes the drive through. Whenever I place a mobile order- I wait forever. Today, I saw them put probably 10 cars through even though I had placed a mobile order 12 minutes before I arrived. That was frustrating and that really does happen a lot of times that I come here. I don’t understand the emphasis on the drive through when it’s obvious the majority of those cars are ordering in real time. I also tend to stand there for 10+ minutes before anyone even asks for my name so when they do the mobile orders, they are placing some on the counter when those people aren’t even there yet. I get that it’s supposed to go in order, but then you can’t explain the drive through piece with those orders going first. It’s all very confusing to me. I am sure that logistically that as a customer I don’t understand so I can’t discount that at all, it’s just when you are paying these are the things that we see, not all the behind the scenes of assignments or times or queues. I just wish the orders could be ready when they say they are ready - waiting an additional 10 minutes when I get there when I ordered before I arrived will never make sense to me and does make me not want to use this locations.

The ONLY reason this place is getting 4 stars is because of the staff that usually works in the morning. My drink is always made correctly and ready. Plus they're super nice. The staff working later shifts is a different story. I was all the way down at TJ Maxx when I ordered my drink ahead for the drive through. It took me about 10ish minutes to get there, but I was practically scolded by the girl working the drive thru because I "was too close and too early, and it was going to be a wait". 1) One car was ahead of me in the drive thru that's it 2.) I was so confused because I got there AFTER the estimated time for my drink to be done (I understand you can't always go off that but again I was scolded for being there "right away after ordering") 3) and here's the kicker, when I was handed my drink that supposedly they had to make it was separated (pink drink) which only happens if its been sitting. So again, the morning staff are phenomenal (David and Emily are amazing) but as far as the other staff, its subpar.

Great staff! Always friendly and fast. Had a hiccup once with delivery and they went above and beyond! I go out of my way to visit this Starbucks!

This place is a joke. Wait 20 minutes in line to find out they are out of everything. Employee sounds like she has no clue what is happening and messed up the order of the car in front of me twice. Was told "Oh, I'm sorry" in a sarcastic voice when asked what's similar to it. Don't come here you will be disappointed. 0 stars.
