Starbucks, Pittsburgh PA

This Starbucks is a great places to get some coffee or refreshments on pitt campus. If you have the app you can order ahead and just pick it up before a lecture or going to the gym. It’s also super close to quite a couple dorm buildings which makes it super accessible on a busy day. It’s also quite nice to study or do work inside. But after all, it’s just a Starbucks.

It can get quite crowded in there at certain times of day but the baristas are usually on point even with the amount of traffic that location gets.

Although it's in a very busy college location, the orders are fulfilled quickly and the staff is professional and polite.

This place can get very crowded but that isn't the problem with this place. We order 2 drinks every time we come here. One drink comes in, but the other one would come about 15 minutes later. Whatever. While the drinks taste fine, only ONCE has it been the correct size. We're paying full price for a LARGE coffee only to consistently get a small one after waiting for more than 10 minutes. At that point I want to leave so bad I just accept the fact I got the wrong order, because I know if I request a remake I'd wait another 15 minutes. It's super frustrating. Will not be returning here.

This large and airy Starbucks offers an oasis of calm and quiet in the heart of Pitt's campus in Oakland. I appreciated the quick service by the baristas, and the drinks were made correctly. Thank you!

Slow service. Otherwise what you expect from Starbucks. I think they may be short on staff due to pandemic.

Located on campus and has a huge indoor and outdoor seating area.

I wished the store opened at 6am as advised on the app/internet stated but great experience.

This Starbucks during non-covid times was packed and always busy. It's great location in central campus drew lots of students, faculty and staff. They're quick and all the employees are friendly. Now that covid is here it's deserted so if you want coffee or anything there you can get in and out super fast. It'll be nice to be able to hang out there again after things return to normal. I'll definitely be back. Oh don't forget you can place an order using their app and that makes it even quicker. Enjoy

I like this place, but there are some issues especially when they are busy which is most of the daytime.
Once I ordered a coffee and a sandwich via Mobile App. I received my coffee but the sandwich wouldn't come out, only to find later that it had been sold out, which could have been mentioned when the coffee was handed over to me.
Also, they made me ice cold coffee when I ordered specifically no ice and filled the half of the cup with whipped cream when I added whipped cream to my frappuccino.

Very friendly staff. I really enjoy the environment. There’s lots of open space and areas to study. The small issue with that is that there’s a lot of people that share the same opinion. Thus, it’s often crowded, and there’s generally a bit of wait on your drink.
