Starbucks, Philadelphia PA

I love the grill cheese. Starbucks uses several cheeses, but not American, thank goodness. I often stop in the Newark, New Jersey Starbucks in Penn Station. The staff there are friendly, although you have to eat in the waiting area or on the platform, sibce there aren't any seats. This Starbucks is typical with a seating area. The staff was extremely friendly & welcoming. I can see myself visiting again, having a bite, & leisurely gazing passers-by through the picture window.

I took a trip to Philadelphia for New Years this weekend and I decided to make a last stop before returning home to VA. There were police parked and blocking off every corner and I drove around for an hour trying to find this place. I called the store and Ven was extremely helpful. Mind you, it is New Years Day and it’s been a hectic weekend traveling in the city. However, Ven had a positive, warm, and welcoming attitude, and insisted on making a fresh order since my food and drink had been sitting. I finally arrived and she remade my drink and food and gave me a coupon for my troubles. I called countless times and she was very understanding and wished me safe travels going home. I would highly recommend this location and ask for Ven. You will not be disappointed. Such a sweetheart. ️

I will not be going to this location anymore I been going here for years and it’s been going downhill now I ordered an apple ice coffee drink When I went to go pick it up, it was regular ice coffee which is not the end of the world I kindly told the woman what I ordered since they gave me a wrong drink she gotten an attitude and made another drink but I threw it away I did not trust her since she had a nasty attitude and could did anything to my drink I love the 16th and walnut location very respectful and welcoming

This starbucks was great. Good customer service from all the batista and the pumpkin spice latte was the best made and hot.

I love this Starbucks, Whitney is amazing also the older gentleman in the morning that has the drink table…. He keeps the flow moving. I’ll continue to come here.

Visiting this area in Philly. I found this Starbucks can be busy but my drink has been perfect on 2 occasions

Staff not particularly friendly and no in-store "dining" (is that what you call having a drink at Starbucks?) at least at the time of this writing. Found this out as I was scolded for sipping my coffee in the store: I got, "Sir, the dining room is closed, you can't drink in here". Not, "I'm sorry, but. " which is a detail of friendliness and courtesy with which a decent manager would imbue his or her staff. Other local (4 blocks away) Starbucks allow drinking of their overpriced product in their inner sanctum. What's the deal?

Visited this place last week after they closed for renovation/store fixing. I guess that have new employees as I se a lot of new faces. The big light skin cashier girl was extra rude and loud. Their customer service sucks and is disappointing not coming back at all. I’ll walk 2 blocks and go to another Starbucks nearby

When a pregnant woman asks to use your restroom in a panic.get off your pedestals and let her. Shame on your staff!

What more do you need when you on the beautiful and happening stretch of Market street Philadelphia. “A cup of freshly brewed Starbucks Coffee”. The downtown of Philly has some beautiful streets one of them if the Market st, especially from 30th street to the City hall.
We were so longing for a coffee after a long walk and this store was a blessing.
We can’t be happier. Nice coffee and great service.

AVERY! The worst Barista I have ever encountered at a Starbucks!
I ordered five drinks one of them was not topped with the sweet cream foam as I requested I told her it wasn't she insisted that it melted into the drink as I was standing there I told her it did not because I would have been able to taste it. The person who actually made the drink confirmed that they did not put a sweet cream foam on my drink and Avery wouldn't even apologize after she argued that the service was completed to my specification.

SHAME ON YOU AVERY! She needs an attitude adjustment. Learn to apologize when you are wrong and how dare you argue with a customer and try to justify a mistake that was made on your co-workers behalf

I've been here three times. Not once have they remembered my order. I had to remind them 10 minutes in only to find out they had completely forgotten about it. I also think the lady at the counter is hard of hearing. "Latte" is probably one of words she most frequently hears each day, and I had to repeat it to her five times. I will not be frequenting this branch!
