State Theatre Center for the Arts reviews
22Excellent treatment and transgender friendly. Security out front assisted with my mom, who is in a wheelchair, by taking her inside while I parked car. Reserving parking spots out front for people like her would be ideal. Once inside, plenty of ushers assisted everyone. Show was phenomenal.
Such a beautiful theater was there on Thursday for Whitney Houston tribute show. Cant wait to go back again
Enjoyed a great lively show by Choir of Men. Funny.varity of song, including audience participation. Very talented singing group.
The Choir of Man turned The The State Theatre into a great pub tonight! A great show at a great venue!
Venue is fantastic, for the price. Kudos, to the States booking agents for finding these entainters.
This is a beautiful place for you and your family to watch live concerts and shows. I highly recommend this place, tell your friends to go here too.
Always a great time.so glad this place was kept and refurbished to its original glamour. The decor is fabulous!
I love this place. There are never any bad seats (except when a tall person sits in front of you lol) I love coming here and watching amazing shows. Pictures posted are two of the shows I went to see within the last 3 weeks or so. Rent and ABBA
The theater is fantastic the play"RENT" is not my style very load I couldn't understand the words all the world in the.play were Sung and very loudly! I left at intermission.
The play was excellent. Good sound quality, awesome performance! If you are over 5'5 or on the heavy side, the balcony has very little leg room and I am sure I would have enjoyed the experience alot more if I were not so uncomfortable.
Oldie shows are a must see.sound is great.a young host was disrespectful and rude.ruined my night.ive been there many times never had problem why the hosts were mature not young.i quess im old school respect means everything.you dont argue with customer in front of everyone i was embarassed to say the least the young hosts need etiquite training thankyou an upset patron.geees
We continue to enjoy the venue, but the musical Rent was disappointing to say the least. Fortunately we only endured the first half of the show and left with many others at intermission.
Good venue. Slightly smaller, so easier to get in and out of, find seats, shorter line to bathroom, etc. Helpful staff. Saw the piano guys. They're fantastic. Some of best musicians/showmen in the business. Excellent acoustics and comfortable seats in the main hall.
First time there. What an awesome place. Was there for a special wedding for a special friend. Very beautiful
Beautiful productions. Beautiful stage. Fun and informative summer camp for children who enjoy the performing arts. I have nothing bad to say.
Loved the show. All seats give a good view. Not handicap friendly, only 3 handicap parking spaces which have parking meters. They do offer parking in a nearby garage & shuttle you to the theater and back.
I appreciate this Gem we have in our own backyard.it's still a great place to go for a show and cuddle
Went to see the red hot chili pipers there and it was awesome to look at the decor and architect. If there's an event held the it's with watching.
Our first visit was a great experience. The seats are a little small but the accustics were absolutely terrific. Would visit again anytime.
