Good location, nice room and features. Breakfast a bit limited in options but was good. Would stay again.

I am absolutely disgusted and furious with this location. My parents stayed there after their house was sold, before their new place is ready.

They chose this location because it seemed like a nice place and was close to my mother's dialysis facility, where she has to go three days a week for treatment.

I worked in hospitality for many years when I was younger, and it was every employee's job to ensure the customer had a great experience.

My mother had some complaints while she was there, as I am certain other people have as well. One such compliant was that a whole chunk of a plastic spatula broke off, and was left in the pan of scrambled eggs. Another was that the pull-out mattress had sharp edges and stabbed their fingers. Other areas were just dirty and gross, and when you are paying a good amount of money to stay somewhere, you expect a certain level of cleanliness.

I would think the staff would hear those issues and try to address them, and move on. Problems solved, everyone is happy.

Well. Apparently NOT this place.

My parents left there, and a few weeks later, they needed to book a room for a week, Wednesday 11/23-11/30/22. They reserved the room and paid for the reservation.

THEN my mom got a call THE DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING that she was NOT ALLOWED to stay there, because she COMPLAINED.

They CANCELED my disabled parents reservation, because they don't want to clean the washing machines, or be held to basic HEALTH AND SAFETY standards.

Unacceptable.

Room was clean, bed was comfy. A little pricier than expected and staff was a bit rude but overall a good option in the area.

The hotel staff is second to none they're extremely inviting and extremely accommodating for all aspects of travel I've stayed at this hotel for numerous amount of months on end for business and pleasure they run a very tight ship their rooms are always clean their staff is always cordial and welcoming the hotel is family owned and operated I've been to many hotels on my travels through the years and I've yet stay at a hotel that welcomes you with open arms and accommodates all your needs the hotel staff is always friendly they treat you like a regular and family family owned and operated Hotel has been a staple of the community the grounds are always well kept in well maintained whether you're there for business or pleasure you can receive packages and mail there's a business center which is always stocked and ready for any have your business needs on the Fly the breakfast is always fresh and served promptly with staff being a regular and inviting they have a canteen on premise which is always fully stocked with all the goodies from children's favorites to the adult cult classics the pool and laundry room have always been one of my favorite amenities having accessibility 24/7 to a gym and laundry room side by side makes it convenient to cram all of your daily needs in in a short period of time parking is always available no matter where your room is located they do a Social Hour a few nights a week which happens to be very inviting I've met a few business associates through just coming and having a quick bite their front desk staff is always attentive and concerned with any and all of your specific needs whether it might be having a freshly stocked room with towels and kitchen accessories or even just checking up routinely if they haven't seen you in a few days and seeing if there's anything that they can assist with I recommend this hotel to all who are on their travels for business or pleasure children and pets even they have an area that you can bring your pets play in their own private designated outdoor Zone along with providing you with doggie bags and clean and always green Landscaping the hotel is conveniently located also in the heart of all the Thrills and thrills that the Poconos has to offer it's conveniently located right off of the exit past the Delaware Water Gap in town with always a clean path parking and Luggage accessibility from either end of the building they have a barbecue Rotonda in the back of the building which faces beautiful landscaping of the Pocono Mountains their sales team is the unbelievable driving force along with their customer service front desk and management in a hole all staff and upper management treat you like you're part of the IHg family no matter what your status is I'm looking forward to seeing what the hotel management and family owned and operated team has in store for the future of the Poconos I wish I'm all a merry Christmas and a happy New Year and lots of luck they make it extremely convenient to conduct your everyday business without your everyday headaches that you would be facing from your own residence!

I was hoping this place would be really nice for the price and from the pictures. It was not the most pleasant stay I’ve had. The hotel looks nice from a distance but everything is pretty outdated and old. Our refrigerator and phones were yellowing so badly they looked pretty nasty. On top of that we tried to use the phone to call the front desk and it didn’t even work. The wallpaper was peeling and had water stains in the hallways, there were odd smells (a mix of curry, BO and weed) and the layout of the place was kind of bizarre. The bed was really uncomfortable and in late October our room was really hot. Even with the ac on full blast we couldn’t get it to go below 74 degrees. It was 79 degrees when we first got our room. Our fellow travelers in a different room had the opposite problem where they couldn’t get their room warmer than 63 degrees. Tried to plug in a standard curling iron and I absolutely could not get it into any of the outlets. My husband eventually was able to force it in but it took awhile and who knows what damage we did to it to get it in there. The TV channels were really odd and didn’t correlate to the guide list (something weird about the 2.1,2.2 etc) so we couldn’t figure out how to watch a Sunday night football game which should be decently easy at a hotel. The breakfast was decent. The front desk staff were fine, we asked for a recommendation of a nearby park or place to take a stroll but they couldn’t think of anything (this place is in the Poconos so I’m sure there had to be some place). The cleaning staff seemed to actually be the most friendly workers we interacted with. I’ve stayed at cheap motels that were far better than this place. Overall I think if they made some major renovations it wouldn’t be too bad but I’d find somewhere else to stay until that happens.

The rooms were had old outdated furniture, small TV horrible, breakfast, dried limited food choices, social was not worthwhile, raised the price instead of offering a complimentary upgrade as it certainly wasn't busy. Not worth the price at all.

So I did have to climb down flight of stairs to leave. The power went out, so the elevator was not working. I was in a wheelchair and didn't want to miss our flight. So definitely not the best experience. But rooms were good and the kitchen was alright. I was a little disappointed in the pans for cooking and would of brought my own if it was not for my husband saying that was silly. Christy was awesome and very friendly. I really wanted the hotel for the pool to enjoy a week vacation. But overall I won't complain. It was partially a bad experience but the good outweighed the bad.

We were there for 7 days on vacation and the place was pretty clean and the coffee was good but there were a few issues. The two bedroom suites are not set up to accommodate four people. We had two days when our room was not serviced. We brought this to the managers attention both times and he stated that the maid checked off that she serviced it so he was going to believe her. Not cool at all Sam Patel. Breakfast was a bit lacking and the eggs were rubbery and barely warm. They also hold your deposit for 7 to 10 business days hoping you will forget about reviewing them.

As an IHG platinum member have stood in many properties and the staybridge east Stroudsburg is one of the worst.terrible customer service and rude staff especially the night manager Mike. My wife and i.couldn't sleep the whole night.terrible annoying alarm sounds going off from the property.no disposable drinking cups in the room no tv guide was told to come down to the front desk by the rude night manager, Mike.
. The general manager Sam was supposed to get in touch with me the next day and after repeated requests to do so he never returned my calls.was a guest at countless hotels worldwide and the Staybridge E.stroudsburg is horrible.everyone should avoid this property.

Had such a bad experience with Hampton suites in this area at 2 AM in the morning and we were lucky to get a room in Staybridge. Great service, good breakfast, friendly staff. Overall great stay.

I wish there was 10 stars available! The service here was absolutely amazing! Every single staff member was so welcoming especially Mike, such a sweet man who takes pride in his job! Excellent room (family of 5) & the breakfast was delicious, the women downstairs during breakfast was very accommodating to my children and by the 2nd day she knew them by their names! Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice accommodations and amenities. Clean rooms and the staff was very professional. The two ladies at the front desk when we checked in were so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Nearby Willowtree restaurant is a great choice for dinner.

I've stayed in quite a few hotels by this brand and it fell almost in line with the others. This is not a 5 star facility but it was clean, the pool was heated and it has a nice laundry area for guests. My husband and I stayed here one night after a week long camping trip in the Poconos with our dogs. The staff were super friendly with any concerns we had. Mainly just was the pool open. Nobody complaining about my dogs was a big plus. The location is great too a nice shoppe center about 5 mins away is a plus. No only negatives are they shut down the beverage center right after breakfast, I've never seen that before. Also the we only had access to one luggage cart for the whole hotel. Really turned into a waiting game when checking out. Overall I would stay here again the room, even though dog friendly was clean and fresh. Suites are a large size!

Stayed in this hotel on Aug 5th and the experience was not too bad. The staff was nice, our king bed was quite comfortable, and we like the spacious suites. Unfortunately, I felt the experience was let down by the thin walls and ceilings (could ear the not-so-discreet neighbors) and the below average breakfast. Overall, your typical 2.5 stars hotel experience.

Rooms stink like curry. Guests are like animals slamming doors all night. Breakfast is the worst possible. Will not stay at this place ever again.

This hotel is VERY nice. Some of the rooms have a full kitchen complete with cutlery and dishware. Very nice. Bomb breakfast. Super clean and nice rooms. Not the best location. Marshalls creek exit is a pain in the butt and there is a lot of traffic there mid days. Pet friendly. Pool. And worth mentioning twice BOMB BREAKFAST!

Staff was friendly, the grills on the patio allowed us to have cookouts, and the hotel had all the grilling utensils for us rooms were nice good staff very friendly overall good experience. My only drawback is the large incidental fee that they charge 200 bucks

Had a room with a standing water drain in the tub. No maintenance on duty for 2 days.back and forth to get a new room. This place is horrible. I will not be returning to this location
