Steamtown Hookah, Scranton PA

I’m from out of town this was my first time at this hookah lounge I was there for 1 hour n a half and then the security came over and said I had to pay to stay like a entry fee I didn’t get new coals or nothing within that time frame I feel like if a customer is already there u shouldnt all of a sudden say because it’s a certain time I have to pay then I was waiting on the hookah girl to pay for my hookah and the security kept looking at me waiting for me to leave it’s not about the money it’s about customer service

Place is terrible been outside since 530pm today door still closed finally see someone come to the door i see them moving stuff out the store but they told me closed not opening today

Super atmosphere to have a great time with family and friends and the attention I give it 10

Why does a hookah place that does not serve alcohol need armed security guards aggressively patting people down? Why is there a $10 cover fee? BYOB but you have to pay $10 to open the bottle. One employee pretending to be a customer with an expensive bottle at her table. Sketchy vibes all over

It’s okay hookah was $25 dollars on a Saturday you can bring your liquor but they charged a small fee of $5 the only thing I didn’t like is they said it was okay to bring the alcohol in until we sat down and more people started coming in they told me it was fee to bring the bottle in.something they should’ve said before sitting down after 30 minutes just saying

Just make sure you ask them to give you a breakdown of your total because you will be over charged

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The vibe just was not there. Broken chairs, and no menus. The prices of hookah was outrageous. He has no menu, and maybe that’s why he can charge whatever he wants. We got two soda and one hookah and it costed us $40, that’s ridiculous. Save your money and go somewhere else.
