Steelworks Buffet & Grill, Bethlehem PA

We all ordered different things. We started with an appetizer of pierogies. They came out cold, covered in onions and semi-melted cheese. They were terrible. I ordered the Dagwood sandwich and coleslaw. One section of my bread was wet, like it was dunked in water. Absolutely inedible. My son ordered chicken Alfredo. There was no Alfredo sauce and it had one giant piece of broccoli. Our friend ordered a cheese burger and requested it be made between medium to well done, but not too dry. It came out burnt, black and hard as a rock. Needless to say, we didn’t eat our food. When the server came over we told her about it and she informed the chef. Our bill came and it was over $80. We requested some sort of compensation for the terrible food and the chef said to only take 25% off the bill. That is just not good enough. The food was inedible and we should not have been charged for any of it. We are from out of town and will never eat at this restaurant again.

Last night's dinner was undoubtedly the worst meal I've had all year - I ordered ribs with fries and coleslaw, my companion ordered salmon with bok choy and rice.

The review:
Coleslaw - crunchy and creamy.but why does it have ZERO flavor? ! No salt, no lemon, no flavor at all

Ribs - I can tell that the barbecue sauce was poured on top right before it was brought out.the sauce pooled only in the middle of the half rack of ribs.and no one bothered to doctor the sauce up because it came straight from a bottle

My friend's dinner was salmon with bok choy and rice.why was her salmon super dry except for the middle (because you over cooked it) and why was her bok choy full of sand particles? ! BECAUSE IT WASN'T WASHED.

We spent $80+ on food that we didn't eat. I left MORE than 90% of my food on my plate - only ate the fries, that's the 1 star this place received from me.

HOW CAN THE FOOD BE THIS BADLY PREPARED? !

EXCELLENT service, food was good, definitely gonna come back, way better than the Asian restaurant called “chopstick”

Service was great and staff were very nice and courteous. The food was incredibly bad. I was waiting for Ashton Kutcher to come out and say I got punk'd and then bring out real food. Horrible.

I ordered the Jalapeño margarita & it was terrible.the bartender used Pickled Jalapeños from a jar instead of fresh. I've never ever seen that before.food was fine

Limited selection for a buffet that is $30/person. Really shameful when compared to other casino buffets. But the food they did have was pretty good. Would only go if you have a discount.

Buffet was not worth the $30 price. Much of the selection was depleted. This was at 1: 30pm. Very poor management. Have eaten at buffet a number of times and food was much better.

Some of the food was cold! When we told the manager she showed no interest really. The food was not good, especially for $30.was not worth it! At all! Do yourself a favor & go to any of the eateries around there!

Usually I get their herb roasted chicken but I saw they now have crab cakes. Last time I will get them. Huge crab cakes (flattened and size of hand palm) but all filler, only about 5-10 % crabmeat which were tiny flakes. Not worth $30. I pay that much for ones with visible chunks of crab meat.

Spinach artichoke dip was awful. It was almost All mozzarella cheese. Fajitas were just ok and 2 drinks each = $103.00! And then we both had really bad heartburn.

Very very disappointed with the selection and quality of the food for a buffet that ws $75.00. If you want better quality and choices go to a Chinese Buffet. Bland food terrible hygiene of servers and or weight staff. For a casino I expected better

We were here for a concert at the events center and had time to grab some dinner before hand. Their version of a Manhattan was pretty good and I didn't think the price was too bad considering the location. The spinach and artichoke dip had a thick cheese and soupy bottom, perhaps it was supposed to be this way, but it made it difficult to eat. The build your own burger was pretty good, but nothing over the top for the cost. The shrimp tacos were excellent, I will warn you they are spicy. The fries the come with the tacos also came with a spicy dipping sauce that was equally as good. We saw some mac and cheese on another table and gave that a try, we were not disappointed.

I would give zero star if I can. I was got told the wait was 15 or 20 minutes. So we wait at the waiting area. The lady at front yelling to us do not block the entrance with no body even pass by.

I had a horrendous experience at Steelworks. Food was cold and nasty. We paid over $30 per person and I got sick. Fish was cold and hard other food as well. No one was at the food stations when we arrived. I asked to speak with a manager who took a bit to come over. She had a terrible attitude including telling us they tempted the food and it was fine and to go try the same cold fish again. Meaning they put out warm sauce over cold fish to bring it up to temperature which i witnessed. At that point I was feeling sick. I went upto cashiers who were polite and asked for the information to contact the GM she went to manager for the number. Manager refused to give it to her so I could call and caught an attitude with the cashier/hostess who was nice. She was embarrassed and came and told me I couldn't have the number. I went and had another staff member get the manager who to my face refused to give me any information and caught and attitude with me. As I gave her the same tone she then ran to get security. Sadly she treats her staff like that Also they informed me. Unfortunately for her I wasn't going to allow her to treat me this way or standby and watch her mistreat the young ladies. I went to security and filed a complaint. I called their main office and was told no one could help me but then they transferred me to "HR" who isn't in today or tomorrow due to me insisting. We spent over 100 for 3 lunches I didn't eat due to fear of food poisoning. Which I did get sick. My guest were hungry and bought food then at the food court. Which was hot and fresh and way less money.

The service was fantastic and the Chicken Ranch Melt was also delicious. Would recommend and will be dining at again!

Great casino and great restuarant, food came out quick but luke warm and the shrimp wasnt edible before i could get done eating. Waitress was perfect. I probably should have sent it back but i hate doing that.
