Steinbach Veterinary Hospital reviews
15Awesome vet, good prices, listens to the animal owners before making decisions, all around great experience. Been going here for 10 years
Really appreciate the care that Steinbach provides. One of my cats had a surgery here and they kept me updated through the entire process and he came out feeling wonderful. I also appreciate that they understand the cost of care and don't make you feel weird about discussing costs, they are transparent, quite reasonable and highly skilled.
Steinbach has been my vet for 18 years. They are absolutely wonderful. My pit tore her ACL AND meniscus (because that's how grateful she was) and they performed the surgery- good as new in no time. I have boarded there, and have felt comfortable knowing my pups were getting great care. I now have 2 chihuahuas. Dr.king recently took a pillows worth of stuffing out of my 10lb, 20 year old dog. He is up and running a week later. Dr. King is smart, attentive, REACHABLE and always explains the process. The staff is just as great. Prices are exceptionally fair, and very honest. Best vet I've had in 40 years of owning dogs!
Good people. Staff that clearly love & care for animals. Evidently, had multiple vets at the office previously. Now solo Vet. So, the Doc works crazy hours trying to care for the animals in the community. He is overworked & often looks tired. But he is experienced and caring.
The office is not very clean, which bothered me enough to try other veterinary offices. But other offices didn't seem to actually listen to my concerns - they felt like pet assembly lines. So, I returned to Steinbach Vet.
Always love the people (and animals of course) here!
Great price but the receptionists were a little disorganized when I last went in there. But always get all my questions answered and am helped quickly!
When you call you get heard.
I was left in a waiting room for 45 min. With an anxious dog. THEY changed my appointment from 3: 45 to 3 and yet I was waiting till after 3: 45. No one cared when i aaked if they forgot us. So disappointed. I left with an untreated dog.
Went there with a friend when her cat was sick, such nice people! You can tell they love animals!
Helpful and kind; they had answers to all my questions and my dog was quite happy. That checks all the boxes for me.
I can't say enough good things about Dr. King and his staff. I've trusted them explicitly with all my fur babies since the 1990's.
Dr. King is a wonderful vet. He did everything he could to help our beloved dog. Unfortunately, after a year of trying out different medications and treatments he recommended we have him put to sleep. It was the hardest decision we had to make but Dr. King was compassionate and helpful through the process. Dr. King truly loves animals and I will be taking all of our future pets to him. Thank you Dr. King.
Dr King always treated us with kid gloves. I have to drive a few miles but it's worth it.
He will almost take my dog immediately if something is wrong.and the staff are very friendly
Dr King is awesome and caring of animals. He saved my baby girls life. So happy with him caring for her.
I was getting all my ofas done there. They had to cancel my appointment. Said they would call back to reschedule. Never called. I went somewhere else. Sad because they are the best. Front desk staff did not call me. I travel 90 minutes to get there. Very disappointing
We have taken three dogs to Steinbach and were very sad when we moved away. For a few years after moving, we traveled an hour to continue bringing two of our dogs here. After we had finally transferred to a new vet closer to our home, we still brought our one dog back to Steinbach when it was time to say goodbye. Dr. King and his staff have always been great but they were incredibly compassionate and comforting at that difficult moment. Highly recommend!
