The worst rental experience I have ever had. We had so many issues with the house that we told them about and never got fixed. An example of this is the beam in the basement. The beam in the basement of 31 Richard that is holding up the house is supposed to be straight. It looked like a strung bow, literally a safety hazard. Next is how we only got $400 out of the $2000 security deposit back. My roommates even painted on the way out and they charged us for painting. I sent my keys back through the mail because I moved away from Ship early for work. The mail was received by Sterling, otherwise I would have had the mail returned to sender. They charged me for those as well. All in all, worst rental experience ever.

The folks at Sterling Property Management are great to work with. The process I went through for renting one of their properties was a breeze. I’d recommend them to anyone.

Lived in a one bedroom apartment in Shippensburg for a year for my Master’s. Very easy process and reasonable price. Easy to get in contact with Deana for questions and maintenance would respond relatively in a few days for nonemergency issues. Wish the office in ship would accept rent payments though. Would make the payments easier. Just make sure to read your lease before signing because everything is laid out clearly in it.

This was a very nice company who helped my family to get our new home fast and efficiently, the people were very kind. The house was in amazing shape!

I used Sterling Property Management for 7 years. They handled everything from finding tenants to handling all maintenance calls regardless of the time of day. Their dedication to customer service and ensuring I was kept informed all items concerning my property were second to none. They also acted as my real estate agent when I decided to sell the property. No challenge that came up stopped them from acting in my best interest. I have and will continue to recommend them to anybody who needs to rent, sell, or buy a property.

Worst experience I've ever had with a business. The ladies that run the Carlisle location are extremely unprofessional and rude. They told another tenant to come to my door and ask to get into my unit to gain access to the shared electrical box. The tenant sent their boyfriend to my door and after refusing him access he broke into the basement to gain access to the electrical box. I ended up filing a police report against them. I have honestly never had such a horrible experience to this day because most businesses are run by professionals that know what they're doing. Sterling is a nightmare to deal with.

I called a few weeks ago to ask about a property the lady that answered the call was so rude and cold speaking to me I also asked about if the office accepts section 8 and she responded so in a bad way just to say no.

Good housing and kind office manager! Usually has more properties than are listed online- call in to ask and the office is very helpful.

We received a good reception in the company's office and a quick response to our requirements, whether by phone or mail. Great people.
