Stone Bar Inn, Stroudsburg PA

We had a reservation.they sat us at a booth.soup and salad were very tasty and service was good.however, the booth we sat at was next to an outside door and it did not close corrrectly. The cold air was continuous and we had host move us. Then it took almost one hour to get our entree. Waitress was sorry and kept us informed of wait. But these dishes were the specials of the night and should not have taken so long. They were good and we will probably go back.but the facility should do something to upgrade cold air situation and correct long wait time.

Well we’ve been here 3 times in the past few months as we’re new to the area and it’s 5 minutes away. Food items very hit or miss - highlights we’ve experienced have been trout And house made pasta. Front of house Staff always exceptional. Where we always Seem to take a downwards turn is the entrée meat. Really wanted to love this place but don’t want to shell out another 50$ on a maybe.

First time here and loved everything about it! Top notch service, amazing food, and delicious drinks made it a perfect date night! We will definitely be coming back! Special thanks to our awesome server @Lisa

We returned on a Sunday and sat at the bar for delicious appetizers ($10 special 4-5) and drinks Krissy was tending the bar and was awesome! Thank you again!

We were visiting the area and looking for a good restaurant, we found it! The food was absolutely delicious! They sat us in a quiet corner booth because it was our Anniversary, the atmosphere was wonderful. Our waitress was Laura and she was fantastic. Our whole experience couldn't have been better! Thank you for a wonderful dinner and evening!

Always delicious. They're filet is absolutelty incredible. Clean, courteous, friendly, delectable.

First visit here to celebrate a friends birthday with a group of nine of us. Despite having a large rambunctious party, the service was able to not just handle and keep up with our large party, but they delivered exceptional service. Everyone in the group raved about their meal. I tried the prime rib special they had that evening, and it was certainly ranked as one of the best I've ever had. Excellent drinks from the bar and this is certainly going to be one of our regular places to visit when in the area.

Very nice and pleasant service but the food was not as good as what we expected. We appreciated the fresh rolls and butter and we thought the cocktails and salads were delicious. Most of our party found some of the items too salty such as the calamari and the wings. The chicken entre and the rib appetizer were on the dry side, but the pork chop and crab cakes were moist and flavorful.

This place is on the pricier side and we thought there were much better places in the area for more value.

I also did not like how they offer a discount for paying in cash. This isn't a gas station. I haven't seen a restaurant do that in a while. It's a rather dated and tacky practice that they should eliminate considering how high their prices are. It's a shame because I'm sure they are using quality products and they have an attentive and well trained staff.

Such an amazing upscale restaurant. From the atmosphere, to the staff, to the food, everything was perfect. The chefs clearly take pride in their work because the food is not only AMAZING, they take time to plate the dishes so beautifully and ensure they’re full of flavor and beautiful presentations. Even with a large party, the waitress was very attentive, fast, and helpful/informative of the menu. They provide A LOT of food, so I unfortunately did not make it to dessert but I have heard rave reviews about their desserts. I highly recommend this restaurant for a nice date night, a more upscale dining experience, or for extremely good, high quality meals.

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary here. We were greeted with a glass of champagne as we sat down. The filets were excellent. Stuffed mushrooms were huge and delicious. Service was spot on. There were a few other couples celebrating their anniversary too even 60th! Would save this for other special occasions in the future.

This place is amazing! The food does not disappoint. Everything that I have tasted has been amazing. The staff is so friendly and the environment is romantic. The steak and prime rib is my favorite.

This is a good place for Pennsylvania. They have a $25 pasta night on Wednesdays. The cocktails were good to food was ok. Better than many places I tried in the area.

Everything was awesome would definitely go again the Library room and our server Kait was super.

We ate here for our 10 year anniversary in september and it didnt disappoint. The only 2 negatives i have are about the lighting in the place being to dark and the parking lot being too small. Now on to the good. We started with the escargot which came out swiftly and cooked to perfection and was unbelievably tender. I got a french onion which was both piping hot and had a rich favorful broth. My wife got the autumn salad with craisins, bleu cheese, and toasted pumpkin seeds that all complimented each other with crisp fresh greens. My main course was the game platter that consisted of confit duck, boar sausage, and venison chop and each one had its own unique flavor that just exploded on your palete. My wife ordered a aged ny strip special feature that came out grilled to a perfect medium rare. Both dishes came with roasted vegetables and creamy mashed potatoes as the sides. The whole experience was incredible. The prices are deffinatley a little steep, which is the only thing that keeps us from eating there more often than we would like, but we feel like we paid what it was worth and eagerly wait to return. Good job to the staff and culinary team.

From the minute you enter your are greetly so warmly, not a bad seat in the restaurant! The food is impeccable! We also want to Thank Maria for the Awesome Service! We recieved! FIVE STARS MAY NOT BE ENOUGH FOR THE STONE BAR INN!
