Stoney Creek Inn, Dauphin PA

We went here for New Year's Eve and the selection of food was good. The quality was also good portions, well seasoned, well plated and sized, though not quite amazing. Our server was super friendly and even took our picture as it was also our anniversary. The place itself is clean and tastefully decorated, plus has sound treatments to keep the noise down. I'd love to come back in the summer or fall to eat out on the patio by the creek waterfall.

New menu! Food was fabulous, waitress was fantastic! Celebrated our 39th Wedding Anniversary there and was glad we did! Kudos to Chef Kyle!
UPDATE: 1/7/23. Beautiful menus, excellent app & food choices, Seafood Trio was fantastic! Boom boom shrimp and Salmon Crostini apps always "bangin'"! Excellent!

Good evening out. Server was kind and pleasant. Tuna dish was really good. Duck dish did not have the fat rendered down properly, which made half the meat so chewy it was inedible.

Other flavors were good, pickled beets were on point. Price was reasonable.

Really good, reasonably priced food. Nice atmosphere on a Sunday. Nice views of a waterfall. Will be really nice in warmer weather when the deck is open

We had our Wedding party there Saturday 10-22-22. Service was spot on Patty and Bill were AMAZING. Food was DELICIOUS. Everything was perfect, when our family members started to arrive they were pleasantly greeted. The Dining room was beautifully set up. Everyone raved about their food and service. I cannot say enough good things about our service. We had dinner there about 2 months ago when we were finalizing wedding plans then and the food was great, atmosphere was very laid back. So glad we chose then to have our wedding party there. Thank you for making our special day a little more special. Highly Recommend.

Delightful dining on the deck by the waterfalls. Enjoyed the delicious crab cake with fries. Although they were short staffed, waiter Bill did a terrific job of serving all our food on a timely basis.

Wonderful 5 star experience. Delicious chicken Greek salad and a bacon wrapped scallop appetizer.
And the most wonderful iced tea. Perfectly Brewed.

Patty was my wait staff and she was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and and professional. I observed others foods and drinks and everything looked great.

It was my 1st time back since covid and I don't know what took me so long.

4 out of 5 mainly for atmosphere. I don't recall being particularly blown away by the food. The first time my food was great, the second time it was lackluster. The brussel sprouts are yummy, and my meat was cooked to desired taste - well done. Yes, well done. The first time. I wouldnt brag about the salads or sides. But it's a nice establishment and a funny stall in the bathroom that feels like my private stall because I don't many other women would squeeze into it.

Update.things have changed here, or maybe I just finally ordered the correct dish. I am not sure what happened, but their food quality is the best in the area. Their porkchop is the best I have ever had. This has change from a place to skip to a place not to miss. What a transformation! Cudos to management. The food pushed it to a 5 for me. Wow!

Original review. This place is ok for me. The staff is not friendly at all. There are plenty of other options in the area. The deck view is very pretty in the summertime.

Had not been here for a few years, but made
the worthwhile trip today. Atmosphere has a local vibe. Food was delicious & quick. Server was friendly & spot on. Deck looks perfect
for warm weather. We will def make it a return road trip soon. Keep up the good work!

Food was very bad starting from appetizers to the meal. Then the bar ran out of pineapple juice and we couldn't get the drinks we wanted. Also the waiter would drop stuff at the table and just walk away before asking if anyone needed anything else.

I do have to say this was a pleasant experience. The view is awesome looking over the stoney Creek dam. The food was excellent. Ordered the New York strip with a house salad. The waitress was on point with making sure my dietary restrictions were acknowledged.the prices were very reasonable. Definitely a place to stop and have dinner or grab a drink at the bar. There is indoor and outdoor seating

I have been here a handful of times and the food is consistently good. In this occasion we got crab cakes with the ranch fries, a side salad (not pictured) and bacon wrapped scallops. All were delicious. The deck was still open so we sat near the dam. Definitely worth taking the drive up to Dauphin. Detweiler Park is within 5 minutes so you can go do some hiking and stop in for a meal. Service staff is always personable and accommodating. I’ve always sat on the deck, never been inside the restaurant.

Food and atmosphere are good but prices are too salty! Very, very good. Bill our wait person was awesome
