Strasburg Rail Road, Ronks PA

The legend of sleepy hollow was excellent. I took my son, daughter in law and my granddaughters. My granddaughters can't stop talking about it. They want to go again. The actors were awesome and interacted with us the whole time. It was the right amount of scarey for children. This will become a Yearly event.

What a fun experience! We took our 2.5 year old and it was great! Such a friendly staff. The weather was wet and cold and I was thrilled to get on the train and they had the heaters going! Would totally do it again!

We had time again on the train ride. We have been on the train before, and again we were quite pleased with the courtesy of the staff, knowledge of the train, and their willingness to help make the experience quite pleasant.

The engine is a machine of beauty, and impressive to watch while it operates. We were in the lounge car, the seats being comfortable, and refreshments made the trip a great time to spend an hour.

Although the trip down is fairly long, we plan on going again at later dates. A thank you to the staff for making the trip enjoyable

We did the Sleepy Hollow Halloween themed train ride with dinner. Pricey. BUT worth every penny. The show was good before the ride, dinner was small but tastey, but the wait staff and actors made the ride absolutely wonderful. And.they scared the heck out if my wife! Twice! I won't give details - it would ruin it for others, but what a great date night for us. Thank you!

A very impressive experience, our tour on this steam train was amazing. Just don't take the wine and cheese, it's not worth the difference of price.

The train was fun, but I wish there was an option for a longer ride. I don’t recommend purchasing the hot chocolate, it was essentially hot water with a slight hint of chocolate flavor. One of train conductor staff members was rude and I was disappointed in his customer service and his inability to speak to paying customers with respect.

Went for the sleepy hollow train ride, even though it was raining the cast did a wonderful job, would highly recommended doing this train ride

We had a great time riding this historic train and learning about it's history. We rode in the luxury car and enjoyed some wine and a charcuterie tray. Highly recommend this attraction

My husband and I were in town for our 10 year anniversary and decided to have lunch in the dining car. Food was great, the women there servicing food was great and informative. It was a great experience

The Strausburg Railroad Train ride was a nice relaxing and enjoyable ride.

The train travels 15-20 min and then goes back on the same route it came.

During the train ride the speaker plays information about the old train and it's surrounding and the history of the neighborhood.

If you like history and or have kids that want get a ride on an authentic "old" train then this is a good activity.

If your looking for fun ride type then this is not a great option. (Enjoyable for the right reason/crowd)

Definitely recommend buying tickets in advance and coming 10-15 before departure to check in and get in line.

If it's nice weather then the open air car is a great experience but the coach has windows that can be opened and the more luxury cars Have AC in them

We loved the train ride. It was a beautiful fall day, and the scenery was amazing. The train is stunning, and the staff is so friendly.

A great experience! Easy to book, locate and get to. I highly recommend the open car experience.

Was super excited to try Strasburg. It had been on my must do list for some time.
The train was quite nice. We were in a first class parlor car 88 which was not open air and had refreshment service as well as snacks. That was enjoyable. What I didn't like was I couldn't hear what the announcer was saying at all. The narrated tour was not heard. Unless you were seated right in the middle of the car it was impossible to hear. Also the ride isn't actually 45 minutes. You are on the train that long but there are times you are stopped. I guess that's protocol. It was enjoyable but not what I expected. On a side note if you have young children you may want to choose another car other than this one such as the open air. Parents of children in this car on that day were opening the windows for their children. Not a good idea and it hinders the enjoyment of the other guests on board.
