Strasburg Train Shop

The exorbitant prices make it hard to prioritize local support. I'd love to back a hometown business, but their pricing seems geared towards exploiting the tourist-heavy area rather than engaging the local community. Unfortunately supporting this shop remains difficult on the wallet, due to their online competitors offering the same items at significantly lower prices.

A very special place and to see so many children enjoying the train ride with Santa! Priceless!

Had one of my Lionel engines there for service, Jerry and Chase went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and had a working train for Christmas. Excellent shop, can't say enough good things about them. Will definitely go there for future repairs and service.

Lovely train garden. I did think it was a little expensive for this kind of experience but it was very nice! Kids should all be free!

We at great stop! The train is like stepping back into time and it’s worth the time to experience it. I found several things fascinating but the one thing but the seats intrigued me. The seats flip one way and then another on the way back! Genius and they are original seats. The train is beautifully restored and seeing the countryside is pretty too. It’s a nice relaxing ride.

The choo choo barn is simply awesome for little ones who adore trains. As a miniature enthusiast, I too, find the entire experience magical! Lovely, helpful woman at front desk. So much to do in the area. The best!

Fantastic train store w/new & used of all scales. Good selection of used American Flyer at very reasonable prices.

FANTASTIC! We were two kids in a candy store looking through aisles and aisles of great finds. This is a real deal train store and the staff were super friendly and made this experience so much fun.

This store is great! I'm glad it's an actual train shop and not a general "hobby" shop. I was in there 2 summers ago for the first time while I was on my second vacation to strasburg and made time to visit. Well I'm getting ready to visit again for New years weekend on my third vacation to strasburg. I'm from chesterfield VA and all of our train shops are gone so making this visit is important whenever I come to Lancaster Pa. Thanks y'all for keeping the hobby alive!

Great store with plenty of items to choose from. Knowledgeable staff and a fun place to take the kids.
