Straub Brewery Inc reviews
7It was a very interesting brewery. Its a gravity fed brewery. Fair warning in the summer its very warm inside during the tour.
Great food, great atmosphere, great service, great beer. Definitely need to go if you have never been.
Nice place, good food and great service. We stopped in on our way through without expecting much and were pleasantly surprised. Had to have some Straub Beer too which was also good.
Ordered food to go and had a beer flight while I waited.the atmosphere is great, especially on a nice spring day.beers were great, food was good as well. I ordered at the bat but had good service and bought a cool T-shirt. My only complain is that they aren't open Monday and Tuesday!
We had a large group tour on April 1st. Lexi our tour guide was awesome. So grateful for a great time. Thanks Straubs.
My favorite is Straub Amber! From Ohio I come here 4 times a year to supply UP!
I arrived at Straub Brewery in St Mary's from Altoona Pa (88 miles). For 2pm tour I had scheduled. After parking, immediately ran into AJ, employee there, after talking a few minutes he directed me towards the Tap Room where food and Straub beer available for purchase. Very nice Nancy, bartender showed me building next door where tour begins. Going there, I met Lexi, tour guide. She is so nice and friendly. Having some time, I went back to the bar, had 2 of their delicious Amber beer. Returning back, tour began. Soon into it, is the famous eternal tap where I sampled the 1872 lager which closely taste like Yuenglings Chesterfield Ale. Throughout the tour, I was very impressed with Lexi's knowledge of the workings and history of the brewery since it started in 1872. Another thing amazing she is just 17, high school senior. When the tour was over, using the drive thru, I purchased a case of Straub Amber. From start to finish, I had a great time. All the staff I met are true ambassadors to Straub. I enjoyed it more than Yuenglings tour last September. I highly recommend going to the gem of St Mary's Pa.
