Favorite studio ever! The studio has so much to rave about! A ton of natural light, amazing furniture to use, decor, in a very small town with very light traffic, easy to get to, it is just perfect! Boudoir sessions are a must at this studio! The owner/Mariah is so great to work with! She is very responsive and accommodating! I will be a forever renter!

This studio gives me studio envy! I’m a photographer who doesn’t have a studio space and no plans for one, so when I have a client who does want an indoor session, Studio 1933 is my go-to. The white walls and floor to ceiling windows at the front make this space perfect for utilizing natural light for sessions, but of course can also make sessions using OCF look just as good. There’s plenty of (temperature controlled!) space here to allow me and my clients to feel comfortable throughout a session. Mariah made the rental process simple and easy! I already have another session in the books to rent Studio 1933 for another family session and look forward to using this studio in the future to help me best meet my clients’ needs. Thanks so much Mariah!

I was with the photographer today as a client who was helping her out. I was very disappointed in the very unprofessional way the owner acted today in regards to the situation. There was no ability for the photographer to explain anything or offer proof that a theft did not happen before we were all thrown out of the building in the middle of a shoot. I did not get a chance to do my shoot. I was also displeased with how the owner was grabbing items of ours and taking them outside of the building, including my belongings. It was done in a very unprofessional and hostile manner that I found to be completely unnecessary. I am a cosplayer and model and often hire photographers to do various shoots for me. I thought that your studio was very lovely, but unfortunately the poor handling of the events of today have given me a poor view of this studio and I will not be booking any further shoots at this location and I will encourage all of my other cosplay and model friends to avoid this location in the future.

I’ve rented this studio twice now and it’s always clean and so beautiful. User friendly and Mariah is the best! Always answers when you call or text right away

Beautiful space! Mariah is great to work with. Great studio for photographers, especially in rainy western PA when you can’t always count on outdoor sessions.

This studio and Mariah are absolutely incredible. She keeps her space clean, cute, with so many options to work with when renting. Mariah herself is so kind to work with -extremely accomodating, generous, and loving. She puts her heart into everything she does!

I always LOVE using this space! My clients love that it's easy to get to, and are always wowed by how cozy the decor is. From model portfolio shoots, to maternity, to boudoir, the studio is flexible making it perfect for a wide ranges of projects. And having a makeup area and changing space is SO nice, other places I've rented mean my client is using a bathroom in the hall or even having to change in a "private-ish" corner of the room, while the hair and makeup artists have to hunt down an outlet and keep their fingers crossed the lighting is good. But at Studio 1933, that's not an issue. The space is always clean, a great temperature, and easy to access. What more could a photographer (and their clients!) ask for?

Studio 1933 is THE BEST studio in Pittsburgh - hands down for many reasons, but I’ll just name a few. The studio has an impressive variety/amount of furniture, the natural light is incredible, there’s a sound bar that makes any session fun, and there’s plenty of parking! I love that there are dressing rooms and a separate entrance that is closed off that is perfect for boudoir so that your next client can wait inside without seeing your prior client.

I’ve never had a problem getting a time slot and Mariah is so accommodating. One of the features I love most is that the key is in a lock box so you don’t have to arrange a meetup to pickup and drop off the key! Definitely will forever rent this studio!
