Studio Movie Grill reviews
17I absolutely love this movie theater. The bar tender Ty was 100% nice to my boyfriend and I. She gave me everything I wanted and needed. Once it was time to see the movie I didn’t like that the staff walked around while I’m watching the movie. I also asked a guy to take the beer bottles from my table so they won’t get knocked out but he refused.
Foods too pricey and they have the nerve to add gratuity when they don't come and check on you and when you ask them for something, they don't bring it (after the foods dropped off)
Do NOT pre-order food through the app if you're buying tickets in advance. As soon as we sat down they brought out the cold burgers that we had ordered. The beers that we had ordered in the app were not brought out. I asked 3 different people about the beers and each one said they'd go ask the bartender. 15 minutes into the movie (almost 30 minutes after receiving the cold food), I was finally able to find someone and explain that we had paid over 20$ for drinks that were never brought out. That finally got someone to actually look into it and bring the drinks.
Other than that, it's a clean theater with nice sound and picture. Even if the food was hot, I don't think the food is worth the price. Drinks were fine.
The only problem was that our tables were wet and dirty when we sat down and messed up my babies clothes, however, a server brought us napkins when asked and we cleaned off the table. The movie experience was great though!
Had a good time. Waitress was nice. A little pricey but Food was ok. They could do a better job with cleaning though seats and floor was sticky
Too cold, barely enjoyed the movie, had to sit with big coat, grandson miserable. Seats dirty and cup holder sticky. Proves not much cleaning going on.
They have dirty cup holders the menu is hard to read it’s a lot of money they ha e a good verity of movies but not so much of food. They have okay waiters that took a long time to even bring my drink and food
Just got back from visiting this location. DO NOT ORDER ADULT DRINKS! My Long Island was missing all four of the required liquors. Forget sending it back that "mamma jamma" was included on my receipt with the gratuity already added. This doesn't mean that the server should not be given additional funds because tips should be given based on satisfaction of service, so I added more money. However, I would stick to the movie specials, $5 movies, and the brownie sundae was well worth it. Please do not fall for the "Spider bite" drink for the kids neither. Take your child to Wawa first lol.crazy funds spent. Come on lets get a little better with the pricing, and give the people what they want (good food, fair pricing, and adequate adult drinks)!
I watched My Hero Academia: World Heroes Mission in this theater. The experience was incredible. The audio was loud and crisp, the food was amazing, and the staff were nice and friendly.:)
I’ve been here a total of 3 times so far. First time in October 2019 for the Addams Family cartoon movie, the second time in October 2021 for the Addams Family 2 movie and then the third time about a week ago in November 2021 to see the live action Clifford movie. The first two times (both Addams family movies) I went with my mom and boyfriend and this last time (the Clifford movie) I went with just my boyfriend.all three times I’ve gone here were awesome, the food was good, the movies themselves were great I would definitely watch the all again, and I would definitely come back to this theater again.
And I would recommend a drink called Spooky Berry Punch, I think it’s a seasonal Halloween time juice drink, it’s non-alcoholic and it’s really good. The chicken tenders are also a good food to get there too.
The food was horrible, the server didn’t get my order right and ended up charging me more money, the lemonade tastes like dirty water.
So my experience at this dirty movie theater was horrible.so let me tell you, I went to go see venom & in the middle of the movie I felt something on my neck & I just thought it was the tag on my shirt so i grab it then I felt something moist in my fingers so I threw it on the little table and guess what it was a ROACH so I ran out to the bathroom to wash my hands first then dust off just in case & the bathroom is horrific so I get the manager & tell her.she says “ A roach “ “ we always get exterminated” well clearly not oh and to put the cherry on top we couldn’t get a refund.so no I will never be back or to any movie theatre point blank period. 0 stars!
We came here last night to watch true to the game 3. The movie time was 5: 45, however we were not seated until 6: 20. When we got into the theater the movie was already playing for God know how long. When asked why they started the movie before they let the guest in no one could provide an explanation however they were quick to say they can't start it over. We ordered 2 things off popcorn, quesadillas, 2 waters with 2 cups of ice. The ice came out first. Then 10min later we got our waters. About 5 minutes after came the quesadillas. We never got the popcorn. After about another 30 minutes waiting for the popcorn we spoke with the manager who was rude and unapologetic. She stated they had sold out of popcorn and would have to make it fresh. We declined at this point because the movie was nearly over. But someone should have come and said they were out of popcorn instead of making us have to go find out what was going on. Then we couldn't really enjoy the movie because the servers kept walking pass with orders. Im sure had we been allowed in the theater during the previews orders would have been placed and delivered before the movie started. Overall this was just a bad experience. We will not return. Great concept but horrible execution.
Worst experience I’ve ever had! Went here thinking it would be a nice place considering online said it had reclining seats and good food. Both were incorrect. Seats did not recline, food was subpar, and over priced. And to top it all off during the entire move there were 3 small children talking and singing while the waitresses walked around with bright lights asking questions all during the movie. They even tried to bring me someone else’s food and drink twice. I will never visit this location again and would not recommend to others. And last but not least the location is horrible, parking was scarce, and the people walking the streets were sketchy.
I always forget how expensive it is to come here until I do. They add the tip to the bill. The food is in nice portions, but the way the menu breaks down things are confusing to when you actually look at your bill. The drinks are hit and miss depending on I guess the night and the workers but the food is also subject to the same probability. The theater itself is amazing. I don't have problems with it being clean or orderly. The staff is entirely helpful to a degree. I asked for sauce multiple times from multiple runners/servers and never got it though each person told me they'd bring it to me. There aren't any bad experiences. I just never have a moment where I go in and simply have not one thing to talk about in a "not so good" light. I guess the "Grill" part is always a habitually "okay" experience.
Young adults are not allowed alone. Should be an alert before purchasing tickets but it's not.
The sign inside is rather small as well. Should be posted on the front door!
Yesterday I went to the Studio Movie Grill with my boyfriend and brother. Number 1 I ordered chicken fingers and fries the fries weren't done and neither was the chicken tender it was still frozen and the fries were potatoey but my boyfriends and my brothers weren't. Number 2 the women's bathroom is so dirty and one of the toilets don't work and the big stall didn't have toilet tissue. Not gonna eat there again or see a movie. Also the row we were sitting at was sticky and they had to clean it.
