A smooth operation! I was slightly nervous before the procedure and my anxiety heightened when it was time for the IV. I would really like to thank nurses Matt and Katelynn for being so reassuring during what I considered to be the scariest part of the entire procedure. Everything else was great with Dr. Vakkas! I was able to walk out with minimal pain, and up to this point I have experienced only slight discomfort:)

Matt and Jen were wonderful and so caring. They were very attentive the first moment I walked through the doors until I was in my car to leave. What a great experience.

Matt and Amanda were great nurses. They really seemed to care about my daughter's care. I loved that Matt gave us an all natural pain relieving gel.

I liked Dr. Vakkas at the initial evaluation in Hershey, and he did a fine extraction of all 4 if my son's impacted wisdom teeth. My son recovered quickly with little pain and no complications. His two nurses were great. (I wasn't there; his dad was). Only negatives: 1. They didn't provide ice packs, or even suggest we have any ready at home prior to surgery. 2. No follow-up call day of surgery or days immediately following to see how he was doing (of course, I already wrote here that he was, in fact, doing great). They don't do follow-up, in-person examinations. 3. I found it a bit deflating to receive a piece of paper after the surgery asking us to review them on various sites; the "best" review each month wins a prize. I know this won't win anything because it's not 5-star, but here's my summary: I liked the surgeon very much. My son and husband found the nurses very nice and helpful. I found the billing dept competent and helpful, especially when I had questions and wanted specific #s early on, which they usually don't do. But the after-the-surgery follow-up is lacking.
