Best Spanakopita and service I’ve ever had!
The meal was a special family recipe passed down to the owner back when he lived in Elafonisos as a child.
Never had Greek food, but now my standard is set pretty high!
Cool atmosphere as well. True “American dream” style restaurant. There’s a reason it’s lasted 33+ years and going.

Little gem I discovered on a first visit to Quakertown. Lots of history and great breakfast!

I had the best chipped beef on toast and the home fries were great. Carly the server was so nice and very personable and attentive. The chipped beef was really a nice treat for me. It was awesome walking into a place where the patrons and staff were all friendly and most knew each other. I felt so welcomed here.
Stop in and see them.
I met a nice woman named Erica, I asked her to join me since we were both solo diners. We had a nice meal together.
I will be back many times.

My fiancé and I went for the first time last week and seemed that the place was pretty busy! We waited to be sat and then unfortunately they ran out of eggs just when we had ordered. We decided to come back and try the next day and before we even got halfway out the door, the owner immediately apologized and offered us breakfast the next day for the way and the minor inconvenience. What stuck out was that not only the next day was all of the food INCREDIBLE, but the fact that they were busy and everyone was still super friendly and the service was 110%. Don’t worry, we will be back. Especially since I found my new favorite place! Thank you!

Driving through on our way to Philadelphia - stopped in for a quick breakfast and became the highlight of the trip. Will be back to the area just to visit Sunday's. Food was delicious, the prices were extremely reasonable and the people were so kind!

My brothers and I just stopped to grab a late breakfast here this morning and I needed to hop on here and share how amazing our experience was! The food was delicious and a great price. The workers were some of the most friendly people I've come across! We had the 99¢ special and the portion was big just incase your wondering! Thank you for a fantastic experience ️

This is my first review, however, I feel the need to write this one. I have lived in Quakertown over 25 years, and in many other places for the other 30. I have never found a place with such consistent good food, good service, and the kind of personal attention from not only the staff but the owner, Sunday. I'll walk you through to give you an idea. It is a blast from the past to walk in the door, be greeted by first name basis and have your correct drinks sat down in front of you by amazing waitresses without even asking. Then comes the food, not only is the breakfast incredible, the prices are bar none. Two eggs to your liking, homefries and toast. 99 cents! Most of the time we can't even finish our plate, and OMG the potatoes.pillows of amazingness.melt in your mouth slices of joy) The best cooked scrapple you'll ever have and don't get me started on the Pork roll. Moving on from breakfast is lunch, and this was new for us as we are breakfast people. The other day we ran late and decided to do lunch. Man, have we been missing out. A Gyro with Feta cheese and a Mushroom Swiss burger with fried onions, cooked to perfection and delicious. As I said we are Quakertown through and through and the Q-Mart Gyro was the bar to beat. Well, that bar has been raised. This was hands down the best Gyro I ever had. Next to mention, the House salad. Fresh veggies, scrubbed clean, homemade Thousand Island dressing that is drool worthy, and a helping size that you can't even finish.it's a meal in itself! So, in conclusion, I saved the best for last. The DESSERTS. Oh my goodness, the dessert. From the Cheesecake, to the Bread Pudding, to the Coconut Custard Pie with butter crust, all homemade by Sunday himself. You can't get get closer to heaven than that. As you can tell, we love this place. From the great waitresses, awesome food, and quaint and very clean environment of the restaurant, it's definitely worth a visit and you will soon be hooked like we are. A Gem hiding in plain sight.

P. S. Try the Peanut butter chocolate ganache cheesecake. You won't be disappointed

My fiancee and I went there Monday morning. The food was horrible, staff wears no gloves but 'dip hands in bleach water then proceed to touch food with bare hands. Creamed chip beef was re heated in the microwave! I am disgusted and disappointed. This place used to be good but sucks now. Extremely dirty, old, and ragged. Unsafe food handling and sanitary issues.

Huge disappointment. I visited my aunt in Quakertown for the thanksgiving holiday, and we decided to eat at Sundays together as a family. My aunt has been here plenty of times prior with nothing but fantastic things to say about the food, service, and prices, especially the Owner, Sunday. I was looking forward to Sundays due to my aunt's positive feedback, but I was genuinely disgusted and disturbed by the service we received as soon as we stepped through the door. A younger lady, perhaps in her 30s, asked how big our party was. We were a party of 11 (I understand that this is a large group, but they have seated my family here before with the same amount of people to our group in the past). We also called ahead to ask about reservations considering that we are a big party. We were told over the phone that a reservation for the number of people we had was unnecessary. The young lady proceeded to tell my uncle, with a completely unnecessary attitude, that she could not seat a party of 11 at one table. We knew that, and we’re ok with waiting on an arrangement even close together. She advised that she could sit seven at one table and four at another (which, again, was OK with us). We told the lady that we were okay with that 100%. She then gave us an attitude and raised her voice as she said, “okay, well it’s going to be a minute, we can’t put tables together now because I can’t walk over the tables. ” I felt disrespected entirely and highly discriminated against. My aunt is of light skin, but you can tell that the rest of my family are Hispanic, so yes, I truly felt that our race had a lot to do with it as well. I have never felt such disregard in customer service like this, especially coming from a family-owned restaurant with nothing but highly positive reviews. My aunt and uncle who eat here often said they had never seen the lady before. It was so bad that my aunt questioned if they had changed management as they had never experienced something as terrible as this at Sundays. Personally, It was my first and last time walking into this restaurant, and it’s such a shame. I hope nobody ever experiences the disrespect that my family and I did, EVER!
