Sunpointe Townhomes, Harrisburg PA

First of all I would like to say that the leasing agents Linda and Betsy are very courteous, polite, and very friendly. They go out of their way to make sure that the prospective tenant is matched with the apartment that suits them and their needs best. The townhouses are beautiful. I love my stainless steel appliances, central heating and air conditioning, and my own full size washer and dryer. Overall the townhomes here at Sunpointe townhomes are beautiful.

We loved it here when we first moved in a few years ago. In the past few years, there’s been a lot shady changes with change of ownership and management. It hasn’t been the same since Stefanie left. So far, the maintenance staff that’s visited my house for repairs were nice/professional. We had an issue where our garage wouldn’t close one Saturday morning. My husband called in for emergency maintenance as this was considered an emergency because our garage was wide open for the entire neighborhood to see and Stan, the maintenance manager wouldn’t authorize the maintenance guy to come. I stepped in and said unacceptable, I’m staying in an unsecured house with my family. Send someone over. I guess he ended up approving the visit as maintenance came and lock our garage with screw drivers. My husband ended up doing a complete reboot and got it to work, himself! Another issue I have is no one seems to understand the definition of communication. I called to request pest control about 2wks ago to come by and spray my house for worms. I spoke with Betsy who told me, they were scheduled to come the 7/17 and that she’d have me added to the list. Well, that would’ve been a few weeks after the fact, so I guess we were supposed to live with disgusting worms until then. Absolutely not! I asked if they could come sooner and she said they’d be coming that following week and she’d get me in. When they came, it was during a time no one over the age of 18 was home, so I asked if they could come after 230. After a few texts between us, she responded and they couldn’t wait but did spray outside the house. She also stated if the problem continued to let her know and she’d send them back. It did and I emailed her Sunday, July 7th advising we still had the same issue. My email stated I had spoken with Betsy and she said pest control would be back but didn’t specify a day/time. I also noted anytime after 230 would work and if not to have them spray around the house again. I never got a response so I assumed they were coming. The next day, I got a call from my son, someone was in our house. I rushed home, went to the leasing office for answers. Yes, I was extremely upset. I spoke with Betsy who I believe was very apologetic but that was enough was because a simple response to my email would’ve more than likely avoided this. Some woman, named Linda was there commenting on the situation. I have no idea who she was or what her role is but she lacks professionalism. The staff needs to learn how to be quiet and listen when a tenant is having an issue instead of listening to respond then proceeding to try and talk over them. I even sent a followup email a few days after to ensure her team was on the same page as my husband and I, no response. Since we’ve been here, we’ve always made it very clear, under no circumstance is maintenance or anyone else to enter our home without our consent. They are to alert us ahead of time and we’ll make arrangements to be there. Please do better!

Liz & Betsy & Julie are wonderful people! Always understanding! Beautiful townhomes, lovely neighborhood, awesome dog park! Maintenance is AMAZING. They are all good, happy, caring, fun people!

The only good reviews are most likely from the people who work here! This place is terrible, they bully people and they make dumb rules. Also the matience people and the staff come off very rude and racist. Please treat people better!

Management is extremely rude! Tenants let their dogs poop everywhere and don’t clean it up. There is nowhere for the kids play. The closest playground is near Rutherford townhomes. Very expensive and they don’t even have a pool.

If you wanna live in a place run by a pig and racist people then move here.just to get notices sent to you're house, full of hate in order to ruin you're life! The freaking maintenance people act like they are the president all while fixing a toilet. Very rude & also the management will yell at kids playing outside and then go back to their office to eat a whole large pizza! Good luck

My husband and I have lived at Sunpointe for almost 4 years now and we LOVE our townhome and neighborhood! We have been pushing off buying off a house because we love our townhouse and neighbors so much. The office staff and maintenance have been so good to us and very easy to deal with!

The townhouses are brand new with updates appliances and just gorgeous! The community was nice and neighbors were friendly. There is a big park for the kids to play and very conveniently located for great shopping. I loved my time in Harrisburg because I lived in such a great community at Sunpointe Townhomes.

Been here about 6 months now and I love my home. Maintenance is very professional and work quickly to get any and all issues handle. Steph and Grace are also very professional and always have a smile and ready to help in any way possible. I was very impressed after being here 3 months and had a minor dishwasher issue and Grace actually call me back after maintenance left to ask if everything was handled, if I had anything else that I needed to be looked at and I shouldn't hesitate to call if I have any other issue. I'll recommended this community to anyone including close friends and family members.

TERRIBLE STAY AWAY, no place to play for kids, took them 5 years to make a TINY gym for the people and then they complain about kids playing on the street since there's no park. You have your local drug dealers and people are moving in and out WORST OF ALL IS THAT THE BIG WOMENS at the desk IS RACIST she hassles you for every dollar and is gonna burn in hell FOR THAT JUST GREED. Not humble and doesn't know how to take care of customers. They will stress you out with notices and don't care about how long you have been a good coustomer. Once you sign the contract after your lease they ask for even more money. STAY AWAY

Really bad spot to live we did not enjoy our stay. The management is bad and not understanding. They will literally argue with you and are disrespectful. Also rent was tooo high

We hated living here. The homes are new so that's a good thing but the place is junk and the repair people have a rude attitude so homes are not in is shape and the staff is rude. Bad experience here so stay really far aaway they will take your every penny. No respect for people we hated living here and my wife and 1 kid moved as quickly as we could.no place for our kids to have fun just big roads and the closest park is a 10 minute walk from our house. Only 2 stars

GRACE WAS SOOOOO AMAZING, PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONABLE! Beautiful homes, cozy, well maintained. Affordable prices and staff was very welcoming. I would totally recommend this leasing property to others trying to make a decision on a rental home. Super organized and knowledgeable staff.

What a fabulous place to live. Beautiful area, beautiful homes. What a wonderful staff they have in the leasing office. Sun pointe is a beautiful place to LIVE.
