Supercuts Rodin Place, Philadelphia PA

Been here twice in the last few months and had great experiences both times, especially with my last cut with Dana. They are a wonderful conversationalist and super talented with the scissors. I've been growing my pixie-length hair out and it's currently in the "awkward teenager" sub-shoulder-length phase right now, but they managed to shape it so it has movement again. Other Supercuts locations have been hit or miss, but I would recommend Dana at the Rodin Place location to everyone.

Being new to the neighbourhood, I thought I would give this place a try and I am glad I did. Nikki saw me right away, put me at my ease, listened to what I wanted and left me with a haircut I was very happy with. I went back a second time and was also happy with the result. Will go again.

Dana has been doing my color for two years now and I receive so many compliments. Dana is talented and listens to what I ask for. Excellent highlights and I appreciate their services and affordability

Made an appointment online. I asked for a 1-2 inches trim on my hair. We had a pleasant conversation about an African American singer (which I really like) or so I thought. The hairdresser either took it personally because when I got home my hair was longer on one side or she is just incompetent. I am not sure what to believe…
I imagine that she trimmed other peoples hair so she knows what she is doing or she cannot take directions or she is just full of hatred. Not sure that I will go there again. Sorry guys, not asking for the world to provide a service. Please do better!

I have any elderly patient who is very particular and Dana has done a marvelous job dealing with her, Dana cuts her hair just the way she likes it and takes time to make sure she is comfortable which is time consuming

I’ve been coming here for 3 years and won’t be coming back. I got my haircut today and they were rude from the start. I understand people might be having bad days so I just bit my lip.

Started telling her what I want and she said I just need to know what length on the sides. Didn’t listen to what I wanted on the top and cut it short. I’ve been growing my hair out on the top for more than 6 months.

Had the pleasure of getting a long overdue haircut & style w/ Nikki. She was fantastic! Nikki was knowledge, friendly and talked me through exactly what she was doing. She knew what would work best for my hair texture & length but listened to what I wanted as well & went above & beyond to make me a happy customer. Thank you, Nikki! I will definitely be back in to see you! Highly recommend you give her a chance - she will not disappoint!

Nikki did a great job of giving me golden highlights on my red hair. I am visiting from S. FLORIDA AND they said they couldn't do golden highlights on red hair there, but Nikki did it and did a beautiful job

I've had great experiences here for years. All the hair stylists I've met have been cool friendly people and have done a fantastic job. Especially Dana! They're the best, I always trust Dana to provide a perfect haircut and good conversation.

Dana is a rockstar! I was here in Philadelphia to visit from NJ. He took my brittle over bleached hair and gave it a nice color that we both agreed on to cancel out unwanted tones and blend my hair better. He was nice and friendly the entire time and gave me really pretty layers while keeping the length of my hair long to help control split ends. 100% recommended.:)

Honestly I don’t post things online. I have been to this Supercuts before and had a totally normal experience. Tonight though I felt kind of off and I just felt the need to post. Maybe I’m making a big deal about it.

Long story short - I work a lot. Often 7 days per week, and often until 6 or 7 PM. Today I got out of work early and was able to rush home, change, and rush to Supercuts. I did not call to make an appointment because I have walked in before with no problem. I got there at 6: 20 PM. When I walked in the woman there (only employee) asked if I had an appointment. I said I did not. She then stated that she was booked until the end of the day. Totally understandable. However, there wasn’t a soul in the store. I get it, thought - her next appointment was likely at 6: 30 PM. I then tired to explain that I get a buzz cut and that it only takes about 5-7 minutes or so and that I was happy to tip well…but I wasn’t able to say a single word. Each time I tried to speak I was interrupted with phrases like “we don’t take walk-ins after 6: 30 PM” (it was 6: 20 PM) and that “she was booked” and that “there was nothing she could do”. Again, totally understandable. However, I would have liked to have been able to say something in return. I didn’t make a big deal about that though. I instead politely asked if I could wait until 6: 30 PM to see if perhaps her scheduled appointment didn’t show up (I’m pretty desperate for a haircut at the moment lol) and then I could take the slot instead. She responded with, again, that she “didn’t take walk-ins after 6: 30”. While I realized there was no logic in that argument at all (either way she would have ended up with an appointment at 6: 30), I decided not to press the matter. She never made eye contact with me - she constantly looked at the computer or out the door. I politely tried to engage in conversation and just felt ignored and refused a buzz cut. In the end I guess she makes the final call. I just didn’t think Supercuts had a policy of refusing people haircuts or refusing walkins. Anyway, was just wondering if this has happened here a lot. I’m new to the area.

Very peaceful, fun, friendly, family place. Clean, including the air you breathe. Barbers are very efficient with getting you in and out. Keen with attention to detail and great conversations too!

Asked for layers just to make my hair look a little less boxy and I ended up with a bunch of different lengths! My hair is totally botched. I have never had a trim this horrible before. DO NOT GO HERE. I should've just done it myself. It would've looked better.

The stylists at Rodin Place Supercuts are extremely professional and dedicated to their
work. Great job all around. Definitely recommend them for an excellent haircut!

Worst haircut.i was supposed to get layers and it’s just all random lengths.ive never had hair this awful before
