We were customers of Phelps Sungas for many years before Superior took over. We had nothing but problems with Superior; we ran out of propane, they placed the monitor on our neighbor’s tank instead of ours, they didn’t pay attention to our delivery instructions and they cheated us out of 39% of our tank when we sold our house. They told us after two months of calls that they would not refund for propane in a tank owned by the homeowner. When our lawyer called about refunding for the remaining supply we were told Superior wanted to pay us directly for the remaining propane instead of it being taken care of at the closing. Finally, after two months of calls asking for the refund and after the closing had taken place and all papers were signed we were informed of their policy of not refunding for homeowners owned tank.
It’s not like we ever hid it from them. We always prepaid our contracts. Nothing was in the contract about homeowners owning the tank. In fact we received a discount, or so they said, because we owned the tank.
I will tell anyone we know that uses propane to NEVER do business with Superior. They liars and thieves.

I’ll be celebrating Christmas with no propane this year. They wasted over nearly 3 months of my time (without propane) with false promises and miscommunications. I’ve never dealt with such an unorganized and unprofessional company in my life.

Even though I always exhibited patience, kindness, and respect every time I needed to follow up on their unmet promises, in the end I never received a final callback from Glice (from inside sales) or the male manager at the Perkasie location to explain why ALL of their 10-12 representatives I had spoken with to get my first delivered scheduled were in on fact, wrong. Somehow, no one I had spoken to for 2 months knew my house was unserviceable until was waiting for my first delivery that never came. Then, I had to be the one to call THEM and see why my tank was still empty, to which I found out they decided they were no longer servicing my area…How is that acceptable?

My last point of contact was Dawn, and although she was compassionate towards my negative experience, the fact that no manager had the respect to call me and apologize on behalf of their team’s errors is shameful and embarrassing at this point.

Worst company to deal with- we bought a house and they claim they owned the tank.we asked for paperwork to show ownership and nothing came of it- except they came and put a lock on our tank- Horrible customer service- and by the looks of it, everyone feels the same way

Stay away from this company! I have been getting truck deliveries from other companies at my house for years with no problems. Superior Plus driver drove over my yard and steps damaging both, resulting in $17000 in damage. No apologies from the company and no response to my request for compensation.

I don’t normally write bad reviews but this absolutely warrants one. We recently moved into our new home and contacted this company as they were the previous supplier to the previous homeowner. My husband spent 30 minutes on the phone setting up his account having his credit run and making sure everything was squared away to continue the service. Two weeks later they are removing the propane tank from our property, stating they have no knowledge of my husband ever contacting them. This has been beyond inconvenient as now we have to be home to ensure that they can reinstall it without any leaks. I would not recommend using the supplier as they are not organized, they do not communicate internally, and they create work for their customers. Extremely disappointed.

We are also on auto delivery. Went to turn my heat on last night and no propane. Coldest night of the season.

DO NOT use Superior Plus! Unless you want to RUN OUT of propane during the middle of winter in a snowstorm. I was supposed to be on AUTO DELIVERY and was guaranteed when I signed up that I would NEVER be allowed to drop below 30-35% in my tanks.

Well that was NOT the case (and mind you I made my payments AHEAD of time). I have also a monitor on my tanks so I too can see what they are down to, and I saw the tank drop down to 30%, then 25%, then 20% in the middle of the winter, each day calling Superior Plus only to be HUNG UP ON OR PUT ON HOLD FOR AN HOUR OR MORE, emailing them ONLY to be ignored, etc. I was turning my heat back to 60 degrees to save on heat while calling each day nearly having to BEG for them to come out only to be handed excuse after excuse when I was able to get through. Finally they reluctantly agreed to deliver, ONLY TO NOT show up-now I am down to 10%. Their "excuse" it had snowed the day before and even though the road were TOTALLY cleared, they couldn't come out - Amazon was delivering, Fed Ex was out and about, so was USPS and other Propane Companies - finally when I was done to LESS than 10% they showed up - NO APOLOGY, NO DISCOUNT towards my next month's bill as an act of goodwill NOTHING they just didn't care. Once my tanks run out this year (I still have 144 gallons left) I will be using ANOTHER propane company.
