SureStay Plus By Best Western Jonestown Lebanon Valley

After not so thoroughly looking at these reviews/photos, I have came to the conclusion that this place is as sad and mundane as my life. They have a hornet problem, I think. The pool is meh the only thing nice is the handicap accessibility. The out side looks like a hospital, it seems somewhat dirty but, the dining/breakfast area is comfortable. Overall I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU DO COME HERE, enjoy it:) (I’m not the boss of you)

While working 8 months in the Bethel PA area, my wife and I stayed here more than 30 nights. I can’t say enough good things about this location. They are always accommodating and made each stay feel like home. From staying with our 2 dogs, getting directions to great food spots, requesting our favorite room 111, and asking for early check ins! They met and far exceeded most every expectation we had. There was an issue with the hot water that took a day to fix but they offered to allow showers at their personal home during this repair. While I personally couldn’t see myself showering in another person’s home. The fact that they were proactive and solution focused made the situation 100% better. We gladly drove the 31 mins while passing many other hotels each time solely because this location made us feel like VIP guests and family. No bugs in any of the rooms we stayed in. Their sheets/towels/carpet were clean and free of stains. Breakfast was hot and had a good selection. Highly recommended!

Rooms: soft mattress, decent pillows, shower has good pressure, room is a nice layout.
Location: Close to Freightliner, bridge has a wide shoulder to walk. Freightliner will shuttle you.
Pro/Con: they have a really late check-in time, but they have an early check-in surcharge so I could go straight there.
People: friendly enough

This was the worst Best Western we have ever stayed in! We were both exhausted and were looking for a nice hot bath before turning in. We got all settled in and ready for a tubby. Only to find that the shower was disgustingly dirty! There was actually a dirty band-aid and hair in the tub! I went to the desk and told them and actually got the woman to come see it. She said she could clean it for us. We were so tired we would not wait who knows how long. She did say she would report it to management. We never heard anything from them about this matter and will not be using Best Western again!

Only place that had four rooms left! Front desk lady supper nice and funny! Beds super comfortable enough pillows plus one extra! Very clean beautiful room. Bathroom little tight but updated clean and a full size tub! Really good for the price.

Cheap, nice, clean hotel. In the room microwave oven, coffe machine and small fridge. The price includes breakfast.
The hotel has a washing machine and a dryer.
Great service! TV didn't worked,   they fixed it in 5 mimutes.
Walking distance to few fast food restaurants.
My only complaint: the don't have quarters, needed for the washing machine, that the reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5.

If I could give this Hotel 100 stars I would. Chose to stay here because it was close but not too close to Hersheypark stadium. Also because they had a pool. Unfortunately the pool pump was broken so no pool. Normally I would have been upset. But this day I simply told them how disappointed I was and that the pool was one of the main reasons I chose them. Their rates were very well priced and in line w other establishments. We came back down to head out for our dinner and concert. They recommended a wonderful place to eat and we were told that they were knocking 20% off the bill due to the pool situation. Well that was aces up in my book. Besides the wonderful service (including wakeup calls) the room was so nice and spotless. Then there was the free breakfast the next morning. I have had quite a few hotel breakfasts and they couldn't hold a candle to this one. The most delicious eggs I may have ever tasted and a wonderful spread of anything you could think of for breakfast. So there you have it: Amazing Service, Great Rooms, and a spectacular breakfast. I highly highly recommend staying here!

I stayed here a week ago. I picked it bc it was priced reasonably and had a pool. When we arrived the pool was shut down we were promised it would be open the next day but never was. We stayed there for 5 days and it never reopened. The room had water damage and smelled like mold. Elevator was down and we had to carry things up to our room. I can say when we noticed our refrigerator wasn’t working they did find one quickly. Our second to last day I told someone in the morning that the toilet wasn’t flushing and I was told someone would take care of it, when we got back that night it was late and I didn’t notice if someone came until my son used it and it was still clogged we had to hold it all night long to get help in the morning. I would never stay here again. I seen someone else was there the same time and got money off their stay and I don’t think it’s right when we weren’t offered anything at all while my kids were upset about the pool all we got was empty promises. This was the worst hotel and my kids were upset on their vacation before school started

The rooms and hallways are dated. The bathroom was dated with a touch up attempt by adding a new floor. The pool was out of service. The breakfast area was way too small for the number of guests staying there, just a lack of chairs mainly.

Nice hotel for the money. Rooms are clean staff is super nice. Outside is clean and well taken care of. Only downside is pool is temporarily closed.

I booked this hotel room online and then I read the reviews and saw that everyone was posting about it being dirty or smelly, and not a good hotel but when I arrived, it was very clean the service was great. The only issue I had was my drain in my shower would not open to let the water go down the drain so I had to finagle it the pool was clean no bugs or leaves. My son had a blast. We woke up to great breakfast. Everything you could have expected for a continental breakfast was present. I will definitely come back here again and for the price it was more than worth it. Thank you.

When going on vacation your time to check in is truthfully important. I did not want to lose my reservation. I kept communicating with them so I wouldn't. When we arrived we were greeted with a friendly young man. Was able to check in and go to our room. You can bring your pets for an extra charge no big deal. The room looked decent but I still sanitized the entire bathroom and we kept shoes on at all times. We asked for clean sheets and blanket and re-made the bed no problem. The room look dated and in need of a bit of love and care. The pool was a swamp really. The breakfast was great. A great variety! Vending machines and ice machines for your needs. Had microwave and a small cooler/ fridge. It was an unplanned stay but it wasn't that bad. You can feel secure as cameras are everywhere!

Rooms have vinyl planking flooring. Which is ok, except there is no masking footsteps and such noise from the floor above. And I had Mr Stomper the 1st night.
Despite that, the women working the front desk were GREAT! Professional yet friendly. The bath towels are huge and soft. Breakfast was good! I'll definitely stay again should I be by Jonestown, PA again.

Really disappointed with my most recent stay. The first room reeked of smoke and the bed wasn't made. When I requested a change, the new room didn't have water running to the sink, because it was turned off due to a leak. There were only a handful of other guests, so.were those the best two options for the rooms available?

Adequate place to stay. A little far from my son's house, but right off I-81. A little hard to find. Breakfast (eggs, ssusage, waffles, etc.).

Very clean updated room. Very comfortable and great staff. Very reasonable and no charge for our dog. They also provided a nice breakfast before we hit the road. Will look for them on our next trip.

I'm not sure how long it was since room 303 was used, but the water kicked on like something from "the money pit" (it's a movie kids). And was rusty for a few minutes. I let it run and everything was fine. The room was clean so no need to sweat it.

A friendly casual family operated place with unusually high ceilings on the 3rd floor. It shows its age but also the care given to it. The free breakfast was better than expected with a variety of healthy options. Good choice for budget conscious family. Observed no nefarious guests of any size at all.
