Susquehanna Health OB/GYN / Gynecology Services at UPMC Williamsport

The doctors and nursing staff are amazing and are the reason I chose UPMC, but the ultrasound tech is incredibly unpleasant. Every time I go she is rude. The most recent time she was complaining about politics during my anatomy ultrasound and forgot to get the heartbeat. She also told me she was not going to look for the gender because baby's legs were crossed and her hand hurt. Obviously it's a medical procedure, but for pregnant women it's also a glimpse at your baby and she is ruining what should be a nice experience.

Midwives and doctors are extremely fatphobic. Sick and tired of being told how fat I am and how me being overweight is going to hurt my baby every time I go. Pregnancy is stressful enough without being made to feel like absolute GARBAGE every visit.

The doctor are good and all, but they have parking for their physicians that's closer than where the pregnant women park, they don't have expecting mother parking which to me is ridiculous for a hospital and a obgyn office

I had a robotic assisted hysterectomy and the care I received from Dr Alligood and the staff at her office were top notch caring, compassionate, always available for my or my husband’s needs & questions.

When you call in with concerns the nurses right you off and tell you nothing is wrong. They also treat the patient like they know nothing. They are obviously unable to handle the capacity noting that making an appointment is out over a month. They will also reschedule your appointment with out asking you. I would not recommend becoming a patient here if possible.

The only reason I am offering 3 stars is because of a very kind woman, named Barbie Younge from the neurology department, made my appointment happen.
I showed up for an 8 week baby checkup and the receptionist told me I needed to reschedule because my son was with me. Not only did I drive 45 mins just to attend said appointment, BUT I also felt like that was something that should have been discussed when the appointment was made! The receptionist basically gave me a "sorry you're sol and we cannot help you" attitude.
All of the recptionist, except for 1 has been rude to me every time I have called. I spoke with 3 all together, from phone calls and face to face interaction. I cannot recall the name of the woman who was kind or else I would love to give her some clout. OH, and Olga needs to find a new job that does not involve talking to people! She is SO RUDE!

Edit. I did not get in that day and had to reschedule my appointment. The Manager who came out never told the receptionist that i was to be seen that day and when I went up to check on the situation, she treated me like I was an idiot for still being there.bottom line, I do not like the receptionists, but ao far have had a pleasant experience with the techs and midwives.

I had a lovely experience today with Sandra Lentz, CRNP. She was kind and very down to Earth. The nurses there are funny and sweet and the whole atmosphere is comfortable (other than the waiting room being kind of hot).
The only downside was that the receptionists weren’t very friendly. When I called, and in-person, they seemed very cold and annoyed.
Obviously I’m going back because I had a good experience, but taking note on how to approach the receptionists.

I waited probably 5 minutes at most. I saw Angela Huggler. She was incredibly helpful, she made me feel comfortable, and I couldn't have picked a better doctor.

Nurses are rude especially to first time mothers, add to it you can never get anything faxed to where it needs to go. And they won’t work with your schedule at all.

It has been brought to the attention of Susquehanna Health OB/GYN many times that one of their CNMs has been putting patients at risk during the pandemic. I will no longer risk my health by seeing an office that does not put their patients well being first.

Today was my first an last experience. I have never felt so violated from a visit to the gyno before. Very poor bedside manor from the dr I seen. The nurse was sweet but not enough for me to go back. No-one did a covid screen to enter the building or office. Wish I could give negative stars.

My experience with Susquehanna Health OBGYN has been fantastic. Dr Huggler is in my opinion the best OBGYN in Northcentral PA. She takes the time to explain everything to you, is very thorough, and is wonderful at making you feel at ease. Her nurse Megan is truly a joy. She puts you at ease and makes you laugh. She always puts me in a good mood even when I am not at the office for the most pleasant of reasons. I will always recommend this pair to anyone in Northcentral PA. Truly people and professionals of the highest quality.
