Sweet Frog, Mechanicsburg PA

Watched employees eat from the topping bar at our first visit.
Opted to return one more time because my daughter really likes Sweet Frog and had another unpleasant experience. Will not be returning.

We arrived at 9: 03 and were refused service by a red headed worker, while there were over 10 customers in the store. Afterward, we had gone to the car and turned around and saw that they were giving service to someone else right after refusing us.

I didn't know it was acceptable for teenagers who work here to allow their friends from CV high go behind the counter and get refills and more toppings for free let alone have access into the back kitchen. Absolutely disgusting! Let alone shout and curse in an establishment that is kid friendly. Messing with the radio having it spontaneously erupt with loud music was very disrupting along with the horrible display of workmanship from ladies that work there. Multiple teens went into the back kitchen and disappeared. Would love to be the health inspector looking over this establishment. Very disappointing experience. Should have a manager on staff who knows how to run a business and old enough to control employees.

The girls who were supposed to work the counter left, and let their friends who were CUSTOMERS work behind the counter. As one of the highschool friends even sat at a table saying “she’s still on the clock did she really just leave”. Completely unsanitary, not cool… her friends who she let come behind the counter were changing music, and just continued to fill up cups with whatever. This location is going down. Really sucks seeing kids act like this. It need an adult here to help run.

The machines are always dirty. Staff sitting around while tables are dirty and drip trays are overflowing with old yogurt. 1/2 the machines always out of service. I only go here because it’s the only place in town but can’t wait until another one opens with ownership that values cleanliness.

I'm so disappointed! As a diabetic and someone who knows many they have no sugar free options for us. They used to have an amazing sugar free strawberry soft serve but no longer serve that. Highly recommend bringing it back to serve all customers needs.

The front door and floor were filthy, and didn’t look like there was any cleaning in a long time. The countertops and glass around the toppings were very dirty. Going inside the girls behind the counter were nice. One was sitting on a chair and the other on the floor behind the counter. While talking to us they never stood up. The area around the machines was filthy, and not sure if the machines were clean. The scale to weigh the containers looked like it was washed with a dirty rag. The yogurt was good, however I honestly won’t go back due to how disgusting the store was overall.

I have been coming regularly and they are not even making waffle cones. Disappointed all the time by expecting to grab a cone.
