Such a cute store and friendly employees! It’s perfect for kids I would definitely recommend.

The party was cute and the kids had fun. The one thing we were told when we booked the party was that They recommended a 20% tip they didn’t say that it would automatically be added to the bill, we assumed we could add our money we wanted to tip at the end based on the services provided. Then we ordered pizzas and chicken tenders to be delivered by 1: 15pm and 2 hours later still no food. This order was put in days before the party with them so how does this even happen? I felt horrible for the parents of the kids I invited. They were hungry and a few kids left the party crying. It broke my heart. I kept asking the girls how much longer and they kept saying the food was on the way……. If I had known the food was never coming, I could have ordered from somewhere else and this whole thing could have been avoided. I just would have appreciated upfront honesty that the food was never ordered or was never coming or whatever the mishap was so we could have set up a plan b and moved on. The story we got was the place they ordered from was closed? !? But the party before us got their food only 20 mins late. I would have been totally ok with 20 mins late if that was the case. It was hours……I didn’t like being led on to believe it was on the way. Someone should have just picked up a phone and called another place and ordered from there. Looking back, I now know what the problem was, the place was being ran by a bunch of girls the age of 16, so they didn’t know what to do in crisis, they don’t have the experience to handle something like this on their own so I have to say it’s not completely their fault. The business is just poorly managed. An establishment like this where you are paying $500 for a party should have an adult working there and present on site for these types of situations. The girls called their manager on the phone and we were offered 10% off the services for the inconvenience. Do I feel like more should have been done? Absolutely, I’m in sales and I would have given someone way more then just a 10% discount. It should have been at least 25% off for the inconvenience of it all. Especially if you want us to come back again. I know they mentioned about coming back for a service for free, that’s great and all but the money that you spend to have a great party and then it falls short is more important to us. To still pay almost $500 for a party of 8 kids and the food never coming is just crazy to us. The party was $329, then the $7.99 each for the party favors was added to that and then a automatic 20% tip was added to the total of all that. Needless to say after we left my husband looked at the bill and he noticed we never got a discount on the party. He went back and they then had the manager call me to tell me that tomorrow a new bill would be sent with the discount. I’m interested to see what this discount looks like. This will determine whether we ever return again. The only reason I didn’t give 1 star is because the first half of the party was cute and the girls did a good job entertaining the kids. The moral of the story is, bring your own food if you have a party so this way you know it will be handled and the only one to blame is yourself.

We have had parties at Sweet & Sassy Saucon Valley before but our spa party today for my daughter's 7th birthday was the best yet! We were lucky to be the only party at that time, but the staff was so attentive. All the kids were kept engaged with no waiting, either doing nails, pedicures, facials, or hair. They had a great time and the staff was so energetic keeping the kids entertained! Would highly recommend!

Took my 11 month old in for an ear piercing with Beth and was so happy with the entire experience. She answered all of my questions and talked us through the whole process. She remarked both ears to make sure they were even and both ears were pierced at the same time. My little cried for maybe 5 seconds after and was fine right away. Highly recommend for ear piercing if you were on the fence about where to go! A cute little certificate complete with their picture after is also included - a great momento!

We absolutely love Nealy here. My autistic daughter doesn’t always love the hair cut process but Nealy works well and fast with her to get it done beautifully. Definitely recommend.

Can't get in touch with a manager if no one ever answers the phone

I worked in hair salons for over 10 years and never once could I imagine never calling a client back. I understand it's back to school but if I call and leave 2 messages someone should be calling me back even to tell me they are fully booked. I'll just take my money else where.

I took my little sister here today and it brought me back to when I was her age and getting pampered at sweet and sassy. We had an amazing experience and our stylist was great and very interactive. We will definitely be coming back!

I took my daughter for ear piercing today and thought it would be a good experience. It was supposed to include “We want the experience to be memorable, so we'll send your child home with a sanitizing solution, a certificate celebrating their bravery, a photo keepsake, a gourmet lollipop, and more! ”
The only thing we received for my $65.00 was the ear piercing and a dumdum lollipop. Last time I checked they were not gourmet and we were never offered or provided all the other items listed. Very disappointed for the cost.

I’ve been a customer for more than 9 years. Today I decided to bring my nieces who are visiting from out of town for a Barbie makeover prior to going to see the Barbie movie: for $35 it was an updo with hair extensions, nail polish, makeup and a feather boa. Our appointments were at 125pm and 130 pm for 4 kids and 4 different stylists. We were late, our fault. We arrived at 135. We were brought back to start the service, not being explained anything. Two stylists did the girls nail polish and “makeup” for about 15 mins. My girls came in with their hair somewhat made up, I figured ok maybe they didn’t want to touch their hair because it was nice enough. I figured I’d be paying a little less since we didn’t receive the full package. We were told it was still $35 because we were late and couldn’t have the full package. This was not explained to us upfront. On top of this they expect tip? I could have done the same exact thing at home for free. I understand being late and not being able to accommodate us, but pls explain what we’re being accommodated for. Also, if you have a cancellation or a late policy, please take my late/cancellation fee instead. Don’t give us a half $@-$ service and then blame it on us for being late. As I hear one of them saying we were “15 minutes late”. I know one of the people that did her service was a manager, at least have the courtesy to speak to me. We were not 15 mins late and if we were, i would understand if we were turned away. I was trying to call on the way and no one was answering the store. Such poor communication! Short to say, we will not be coming back

Edited to add: I’ve been contacted to come in so they can make things right. It’s much appreciated they reached out to me and went above my expectations to make our experience great!

Update: Third time’s a charm. Our experience was absolutely wonderful today and beyond appreciated.

First visit was great! Second visit we decided to get a short cut after dance was over. We discussed how much to cut off and adding layers to help with tangles. I didn’t realize at the time there were no layers, as I was still trying to take in my little girl with shorter hair than we’ve had in quite some time. While I understand it’s my fault for not saying anything at the time of service, I emailed about it. It’s been 3 days and no one has responded to my email. That kind of customer service is unacceptable and what has put a bad taste in my mouth to leave this review. Do better.
