Sweetwater Portraits was amazing! We can't imagine a better way to capture our wedding, and we cannot recommend them enough.

Julie and Dutch were recommended to us by some family members, who had also used Sweetwater to photograph their weddings. We are so glad we asked them to help with our wedding. From the very outset, Julie and Dutch were in tune with our wedding vision. We were a bit nervous about the wedding planning process, but they helped us at every step along the way. They even offered helpful insights into other aspects of our wedding planning when we asked them for help. On the day itself, Julie, Dutch, and their teach seamlessly fit into the festivities and captured the day perfectly. We were amazed when we received our photos, which proved just how great they are!

Julie and Dutch are incredible! They made my husband and I feel so comfortable and supported through the whole wedding planning process, and especially on our wedding day. We loved how easy and relaxed everything felt. We loved that their style was natural and candid focused. We wanted our pictures and film to feel like us and really showcase how the day went. We could not have been happier with how our photos turned out, and not to mention we received our photos within 2 weeks of our wedding! Julie and Dutch of Sweetwater Portraits were exceptional to work with. Not only were our wedding photos stunning, our engagement photos were amazing as well. From the moment my (now) wife and I met Julie via Zoom, we knew we wanted to work with her and her team for our photos. Both Julie and Dutch are extremely friendly and warm and made us and our guests a feel so comfortable throughout our time with them. I swear that every time our wedding is brought up by our friends and family, our ‘wonderful photographers’ and pictures are mentioned too. Julie and Dutch we're incredible, we can't put into words how much we'd recommend them! They put us completely at ease, we’re so on top of every detail, and made it fun! They have such a relaxed, confident demeanor that they blended right into the day. We never like having our pictures taken, but we genuinely enjoyed every minute of it with Julie and Dutch. Even our friends and family are still telling us how great they thought our photographers were. And the pictures are incredible! They capture the day exactly as we remembered it and showed us things we didn’t know, especially how happy everyone looked. They look and feel authentic and almost like documentary style shots. We are so, so glad we hired Julie and Dutch to photograph our wedding! They were overall very professional to work with, and I really appreciate how they set up calls with us to discuss photography schedule details over a month before the wedding, getting ahead of all the other vendor calls that come up as the wedding day gets closer.

Most importantly, our photos are BEAUTIFUL! I love Julie and Dutch's natural style, and they knew our venue (Glen Foerd) extremely well, pointing out all the best places to photograph. They were also very prompt in sending us our full album, which we so appreciated! Have really enjoyed looking through all the moments they captured (we will treasure the photos forever!), and would highly recommend booking them!

All I can say is WOW! We have spent the last hour reliving our wedding day through these photos and are just so unbelievably happy! Julie and Dutch’s ability to capture every moment as it happened is incomparable. Every single photo is breathtakingly beautiful and we truly cannot thank them enough! These two are seriously a dream team and we hit the jackpot with them. They made us feel so comfortable and natural, and we’re truly shocked how many photos were taken that we didn’t even know they were there for! And I will say, the photos with Teddy (our dog) are amazing! Picking favorites for the album is going to be hard! I mean what is there to say. Hieu and Dutch were AMAZING. When I look back on our wedding these two are the ones I remember the most. Not only are they funny and charismatic, they are insanely hardworking and talented. At no point did I have to worry about our photos from engagement to wedding. You hire local photographers who know their stuff and end with new friends.

Oh my goodness, Sweetwater portraits made my engagement photos and my wedding day a dream come true, even in a full blown HURRICANE. Julie and Dutch were so calm and easy to work with, they had my four nieces and nephews who were all under 5 years old smiling and laughing the whole time getting pictures which is no easy task.
