Mexican Restaurant Tamarindos reviews
15They have a limited menu but what they have is delicious. I ordered the short ribs plate. They were served off the bone and were tender and very flavorful. The complimentary Margaritas just put this meal over the top. I will be returning.
There are much better Mexican restaurants to go to. The menu is limited, not what is shown online, and there are NO exceptions even though they have the ingredients. The meals are highly overpriced, and they have the worst tasting chips I have ever experienced at a Mexican restaurant. I think they were triple fried and had zero salt or seasoning. Very loud place as well, and I didn't go on a busy night.
Our family loves this restaurant. We come here at least once a week and could not be happier with the expierence every time!
Love this place, food is always so good and the free marg hits every time. Nice outside area as well
Do yourself a favor turn around go somewhere where they have flavor and treat their customers with respect. Just horrible nasty flavorless burnt food.
Great food, friendly staff, efficient service. Free margaritas with entrees. Update: still great in 2023!
This was really a spur of the moment dinner out, and it couldn't have been better. The service and the food was amazing and the atmosphere is vibrant with beautiful artwork. We decided to choose from the regular menu and our dishes were top notch.
Beautiful and spacious restaurant. The staff is terrific and the food is spot-on! Fresh, well-seasoned and great portions. Well worth the visit.
My husband loves this place. Food seems authentic, everything is not smothered in cheese although you can get that if you want it. The free margaritas are fun.
The food here is consistently delicious and interesting. While you can get your standard USA Mexican Restaurant food, take the chance to explore the Yucatean dishes.
Food was nasty and portions small. Scallop ceviche was NOT ceviche or multiple scallops. Was 1 scallop thinly sliced on some greens with sliced onions amd mangos. VERY disappointing. Shrimp.tacos had burnt pieces of either what was left on the pan or another dish. Also very disappointing. Shrimo.were on smaller side. Covered w a bunch of toppings to make seem like more than what is. Comes w side of rice and beans. Barely any beans and rice was not typical Mexixan rice. Not a lot of flavor. Only ate a few bites. Not worth the calories. Beans couldve used more liquid. Dry. At $21 EXTREMELY overpriced. And not very flavorful. They have chicken tacos on the appetizer menu BUT waiter said they were fried whole and then served. And cant substitute chicken for other meats. Crab quesadilla very small esp.for what charge. Very cheesy. Nit bad but not wow either. Friend had chopped steak which was undercooked for her liking so she didnt really eat. Other friend had ribeye which looked really good. $43. Asked waiter for a napkin, never brought it.went and retrieved from another table. Wont serve "free" margarita until place orders and only get a free margarita with an entree order. Only classic. No flavors. BYOB which should be more prominently highlighted in advertisements and when people call to make reservations. Wouldve been nice to know to better plan for dinner. Parking lot not very big. Was pretty full although restaurant was not. Outdoor and indoor seating. Building surrounded by pretty sunflowers.
Nice clean restaurant with inside and outside dining. Has vegetarian options. No free nachos and salsa though!
Tamarindos is one of the best places to eat in the area - it's outside of what a lot of people think of about Central or South American cuisine, but incredibly delicious and flavorful. We have had takeaway and dine in experiences that have all been wonderful. BYO or enjoy their yummy margaritas - you can't go wrong here!
Nice outdoor seating, good service. Food is delicious. They don’t have bar for liquor but margarita with lemonade is served.
This place absolutely rocked mine and my boyfriend’s world! The food was delicious, so full of flavor and the margaritas were GOOD, they sneak up on you. Don’t even get me started on the dessert! Service was fantastic, they are the most friendly people I’ve ever met and it felt like I was at the patio of my own home. Such a vibe! I will absolutely come back?
