Tandoori Bakery reviews
12The food extremely salty. Does the cook really thinks that if it puts tons of salt the food will be tasty? If you want to develop stones in your kidneys so this is your place.
Perfect place. I highly recommend this places to everyone. All foods are delicious. Just go and buy!
I always buy Narin there. Many thanks to the little girl Mukhlisa who works there, she is so helpful and polite. And of course I would like to express my deep gratitude to the founder of this place too. Best of luck to the Tandoori bakery family.)
Tandoori is the best bakery, the food is amazing. The staff is welcoming and generous. The service is number one in Philly
My first experience with this restaurant was good. The food was delicious. However, when I went there the second time, they charged me for six Dolma and only gave me one. I only asked for one and they charged me for six! I realized it after I left. I saved the receipt and when I came back next time. I explained what happened last time and the cashier acted like I was trying to get money from them. I know everyone makes a mistake. Mine was that I didn't check the receipt. But I trusted uzbek people!
Just letting you know check before u leave the store.
Tandoori bakery is the best. The food is very sweet and tasty and Mukhlisa at the cashier is the best, friendly and cheerful girl!
Super amazing delicious halal meat best and foods. Always fresh bread and somsa. Very kind service
Employees are polite, kitchen is clean, so the foods are fresh and delicious. Prices are affordable matches with quality. You can feel Uzbekistan's atmosphere here in Tandoori Bakery. Good luck on your business Tandoori.
Visiting Philly from CT I heard they had great authentic tandoori samsa and uzbek bread. I ordered a bunch to bring back for a party.the tandoori bread was some of the best I've ever had in the US. I was disappointed that they were sold out of tandoori lamb samsa so I got the baked lamb samsa instead. It was the best samsa I've ever had that wasn't made in a tandoori. Highly recommend.
Highlight of my trips thru Philly. Well-organized cozy shop that delivers value. Best halal meats, salads, tandoor bread n other tasty goodies. I’m originally from Tashkent Uz and absolutely appreciate the quality of food & cultural hospitality they preserved. They also got good variety of braziers (mangal) and cauldrons (kazan), if you’re into cooking out. Thank you!
Unprofessional workers no any responsibilities they don’t care about customers app says they open until 12 am but when I called they said they‘ll close at 10 I asked is it okay if I come 10: 10 pm guy said ok you can come so I drove 50 miles to get there (I’m truck driver) and store was close very sad
Bought their Somsa which was decent but the tandoor meat was sooo damn bad, it was only fat (at least 2/3 of it) and they charged 25$ per lb. Rozimasman bergan pulimga…
I spent Summer 2019 in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan and ate a lot of great food while there. The lamb samsa and langman noodles in particular at Tandoori rival the best I had on that trip. I feel very lucky to have this place so close to home.and will be back many more times. Wonderful place!
