Tanglewood Camping, Covington PA

Not the first time we’ve been and definitely won’t be the last. Great park - the road going in is an “adventure” for sure.

Very nice campground, clean, very friendly people, quite quiet up in the field where we camped!

Bought a camper here on a seasonal site and I love it. Great views, the other campers are nice, fun activities, friendly staff, and the best part. No cell phone service, I get to truly unplug and enjoy all that this beautiful place has to offer.

Great place to take the family. While we were there they had the kids doing a camp scavenger hunt.

My husband and I really enjoyed camping here. It is very well kept up, best and clean. The staff are very pleasant and great to go to when we had questions. I would definitely recommend this campground to family and friends. They also have entertainment periodically. They have a basketball hoop, volleyball net, horseshoes, playground geared to little ones, swimming, and row boat rental. We plan on going back!

A really nice place to visit. Has event weekends. Cabins, laundry, etc. Verizon service is iffy.

Just a gem of a campground. Clean is the word here, everything from the grounds to facilitates were immaculate and the staff friendly and helpful. You can tell they take pride in their campground.

We stayed in site 4, it was small and close to other campers but no worries everyone - seasonable and transients - were very friendly. Sites to the “back” we’re definitely larger so might look for that at the next stay.

We appreciated the pond and walking the campground and our dog loves the off lease dog run. We came home with smiles on our faces saying this is definitely a campground we’ll visit again.

This is an perfect place for family! There is a playground a fairly good-sized Pond where the kids and adult can go swimming. Very clean, friendly and welcoming environment. Homey is the word. The rest rooms are clean and so is the laundry room. Office staff helpful answered all questions quickly. The only downside is there was a lot of smoke in the Park from all the campfires. And if you are sensitive to that you might think twice before coming here at least that is our experience on a Friday and Saturday night. Other than that we highly recommend this place you will enjoy it and you won't be sorry that you came.

Quiet and respectful camping neighbors. Tanglewood provides fun activities for the young and old alike. We love the view from our camper.

Absolutely love this place. We rented a cabin and it had everything we needed. It was clean and well taken care of. Everyone was friendly.

Other than Mother Nature raining all weekend, this campground rocks! Lots of activities for both kids & adults. If you looking to escape the hustle & busy of this crazy world, Tanglewood is the perfect place!

A wonderful camp ground with the camping pass giving access to the park. Very clean and nice bathhouse, with paved sites, a picnic shelter and full hookups on all sites.

Tanglewood is beautiful! I visited during the fall and the leaves had already changed colors. My cabin was cute and had all the necessary amenities. The breakfast in the restaurant was delicious, I just wish they served lunch and dinner also. McKenzi was the sweetest and helped me find my cabin although I was given a map lol. The only critiques: I wish they had better WiFi and I would gladly pay for a strong signal. That's it! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Can't say enough good things about this place. The grounds are nicely maintained, amenities are within a close distance of each other, and our cabin was clean and kept up well. My family and I enjoyed an amazing week and can't wait to come back. We found the staff and other guests to be extremely friendly. The prices for the boat & peddle cart rentals were very fair. Loved fishing on the lake, great catches too! Thank you Tanglewood!

We arrived at our camp for Memorial Day weekend and the tent site was covered in a very thick layer of mulch. It seemed like they didn’t even attempt to spread it out to make the site usable, so we to take the time to spread ourselves before we could even unload any gear. The site barely fit two smaller tents and was very cramped. In addition, we were treated rudely by an employee and some of the permanent campers there. Will not go again.
