Taylor Hospital - Emergency Department

I have to say that I had not a long wait at all. The doctors were really nice and helpful! I finally found out what was wrong with me. The nursing staff Mary and Denise were very nice, warm, and informative. Also the staff who worked in the early afternoon in ultra sound (2 young women who were very nice) and the lady who pushed me back to my room. Also later in the day the staff with cat scans. I appreciate you all and I felt the care was there! Also the one male black nurse (not sure his name) who brought me some water. Thank you so so so so much! I will always go here because 99% of the time I get the attention and care I need.

Not a good ER visit. My daughter's hands were shaking uncontrollably. So I took her to the ER. My daughter and I were treated as if we were unimportant. After asking my daughter the same questions a thousand times, they gave her Benadryl. That's it's, no tests, nothing. And I had to ask the nurse what was happening otherwise the doctor would not have come back to check. The one star is only because of the wonderful nurse at the desk who helped me and nice security guard. Otherwise it would be zero stars.

Very unsanitary, more like a county jail then a hospital, when they did the first scan, a Dr came out and said " I've got some bad news, you have cancer. " Just like that. Very unprofessional.

This ER has come a long way. As a resident this is my area hospital and it’s always been less the par, but recently the whole entire atmosphere has changed. The drs and staff there are lovely and truly seem to care. Dr Michael Demarco is a blessing as well as the triage nurse on at 8pm 12/27. I’m sad I didn’t get his name. Thank you!

I was in early this morning for an illness. I waited about 30 minutes before I was taken back to be triaged and seen. The security guard, nurse who took my information, triage nurse, ER nurse, resident, and attending physician were helpful and responsive. Thankfully, I don't find myself needing ER's that often, but I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

This hospital is the worst. My parent was here yesterday waiting in the waiting room for 5 hrs and then was called to the back and waited for another 4 hrs for testing and discharge papers. They were febrile 104 when they arrived. They did multiple scans on them and then they were discharged. We came back today because there is now blood in the urine and they fell twice last night. They are still febrile and we have been sitting in the COLD waiting room for 5hrs now with worsening symptoms than the day before. I am a ER nurse at a level 1 trauma center in the city and to come back the next day with my parent and sit here for 5hrs again is ridiculous! To top it off the hospital is dirty! I now see why it has a rating of two stars! I can’t believe this hospital is even open. NEVER AGAIN!

This hospital is the worst I do not recommend coming here, I been in The ER for almost 6 hours just to get admitted the staff is rude, I ask how long will I be sitting in these hard chairs with my bad back she told me I can leave and go somewhere else after already waiting 5 hours. Just sad that people have to go through this. Also tried to get me out the hospital for asking how long will I have to wait to be seen.

I have never had a bad experience with Taylor’s ER. Over the years I’ve had to visit the ER for some reason or another including this past Christmas Day. They Drs and staff were cordial, friendly and made sure they answered all my questions. I admit the wait time was a bit long but I expected it since it was a holiday, and like everywhere else, they were short staffed.

Trying times limited staff. Sat for 12 hrs waiting to get admitted. A helpful pleasant, caring you lady (who happened to be humbly recognizing her Birthday) made what would have been a very unpleasant experience bearable. Thank you Nurse Megan McBride from the ER. Your professionalism and dedication helped me in the recovery process.

This ER has the worst staff! Stay clear from here the doctors tell you to shut up and treat you like trash. Bad service completely I hope they go out of business

Waited hours and hours and when I went back they said they had to clean the room. And I had to go back out and wait and I have covid they never isolated me from other patients in the waiting room. Then nurses and staff are extremely rude here working in health care and seeing how the nurses and staff treat people is a disgrace. This place needs to be shut down. One of the nurses even said it’s a 72 hour wait over at crozer.

I filed a formal complaint with the state's health department. Do not go here! They will not treat you, they treat you like a disease if you come in for anything other than COVID and they have the rudest staff I have ever encountered. I will continue to file complaints until something is done.

Horrible. Get your act together. Take lessons from Christiana ER in Delaware. No compassion, you can hear the nursing station and them talking about patients.

The staff was very helpful and down to earth. In particular, the two nurses that I saw were awesome. Thank you for making a less than optimal situation, as pleasant as it could be
