Tea Trolley reviews
16This is the first time I've been back here since Covid-19. It's charming as always. Yummy blended teas, and the food is always tasty. The quaintly decorated Victorian home is clean and a perfect spot for tea. Service is slow. 45 minutes for light tea to be served, despite being the only 2 people seated.
Have been here many times. Always enjoyable. Wonderful Royal Afternoon Tea. Love their scones.
This is a great tea shop for high tea. We made a reservation the day beforehand and we were even seated 15 minutes early. The tea and food was delicious and the servers very friendly. We will be back.
A wonderful place to have tea.they have a wonderful selection of decaffeinated teas too
Very cute tea shop just across from the state border, the desserts and sandwiches were all home-made and delicious. The bread and scones were particularly good!
I loved my visit here! Highly recommend for birthdays or anniversaries as a special treat.
This is a lovely place to have tea. The ladies were just so nice. The tea selection was good, and the royal tea was plentiful. The whole experience was delightful. I will definitely be returning in the future.
Atmosphere is wonderful! Food is delicious! Service is excellent! Rachel, the owner, is so nice! One of my favorite places to go!
Absolutely fantastic. Employees are knowledgeable about the history of the house and the menu. Gorgeous interior and fine china. The Tea Trolley gets busy even on weekdays, so definitely make a reservation. This is a must visit for anyone enthusiastic about tea, scones, or quiche.
Place was extremely dated, with ants all over our room, and weeds overgrown outside. Food was average at best and extremely small portions. The tea and service was just okay, certainly wouldn't go back.
You got to love High Tea. Tea Trolley knows how to deliver. Great presentation, good food, and polite service all in a great environment.
We had a very enjoyable tea experience. The building is lovely and the food very delicious. It may be small samples but you walk out full! I look forward to coming back!
Enjoyed our time there with friends. Having a two hour reservation is nice. Do not feel rushed. The food is very good plus a large selection of teas. Also the service was great.
If you or a member of your party need to eat a gluten free diet, choose another venue. There is one option only and it is beyond bad. The absolute worst food I have ever tasted - or attempted to taste - anywhere. I am not a picky eater and have eaten some less than desirable food without complaint. But this was ridiculously bad and extremely over-priced. Full discloure, I did send a pm to the owner in the spirit of constructive criticism knowing I am not the only one who must eat gluten free. She responded about the lack of profit due to the price of gf bread, for which I was charged an additional $4. Get a different bread, put actual filling between the bread so at least that can be eaten. I assume one of the fillings was egg salad but truly not enough to tell. The scone, while being hard as a rock, crumbled like old concrete. The gf cupcake was good and the only thing edible. A truly disappointing waste of $33.61. I came home and ate.
I have visited twice with friends and we all enjoyed the experience and the atmosphere. My decaf friend was impressed with the number of options available to her. The food was tasty and we loved trying the variety of flavors. Can't wait to attend the Christmas tea event.
UPDATE 5YRS LATER
I have visited several more times and everyone I brought, loved it. The quiche is a nice option.
I have to laugh at those who gave 1 star reviews due to lack of gluten free options and being turned away due to no seats left = this means it's popular and that's for a reason. Small businesses can't revolve their world around a couple of Karens. Yeah you go elsewhere.more room for me and my friends.
