The food was good the service great but the sun shining in the windows blinded everyone and made the experience not enjoyable The management needs to invest in blinds. Many tables requested to move and the waitress lost at least 6 tables. Shame on the owners they certainly can afford blinds to solve this problem. We were there in Nov. I can imagine the heat in.the summer

Great drinks and brunch. Excellent atmosphere! Mushroom soup was delicious. Short ribs are a must try! The bread and honey butter are fresh, and felt so warm and cosy in my tummy.

Beautiful atmosphere, comfortable temperatures inside, quiet enough to hear your guests, good food & service. Prices high & reservations needed - which makes this more for special occasion.

We were very excited to go for a holiday brunch, and made a reservation three weeks ago. Drinks were very good and atmosphere was really pretty. Food and service was subpar. It was underwhelming, and we expected much more. If I was to go back, I would go for cocktails and the cheeseboard.

Our dining experience was quite lovely. The decor and ambience was inviting. The warm bread served in a terra cotta pot with maple butter was a wonderful prelude to an exceptionally delicious meal! Mushroom soup, Chipotle Pork Tenderloin and Seared Sea Scallops hit all the right notes. Apple Crisp Cheesecake was a delightful finale to our culinary adventure. We will be recommending Terrain to our friends and family.

The atmosphere and service were great, but the food was a huge disappointment! Portions were tiny, food was cold and sent back, presentation lacked, and flavor was minimal. We never ate appetizers due to having them sent back and the entrees were a total let down. The best meal was my 9 year old sons grilled cheese, sadly. Will only be back for drinks and shopping.

Went here with my family for lunch. Drinks were fantastic, food was great, and the servers were incredible. Will definitely be suggesting this place to my friends.

We had a really nice brunch here, 5 star ambiance and service. Food was good, not great. We had the mushroom frittata, fried avacado Benedict, and the shakshuka. Benedict and shakshuka were the stand outs, will definitely go back

90% of the menu does NOT come from the university grounds over 90% of the year and is cheaply sourced ingredients that are filled with toxic chemicals. For the prices on their menu I would expect better quality ingredients but nope another overpriced scam joint with mediocre food not even a good chef and presentation of the food can justify the prices when it tastes like that. I expected so much more for the prices I paid. Service and atmosphere wasn’t even that great either. Overall a very underwhelming experience

We’ve eaten here twice, parties of 4 and 7. We want this place to be good, but it’s not. It’s quite bad. Menu is pretentious, Someone needs to step in and look at the menu, the burger was the only thumbs up meal from 11 dinners. Please save this place, it’s beautiful.

Beautiful atmosphere and delicious brunch! My brother and I each had the mushroom soup to start, we both loved it. Then we had the coffee braised short rib and oh my lord…heavenly! Great place and I can’t wait to go again when I’m back up north. Oh and the mocha marshmallow latte was the perfect treat.

Such a beautiful restaurant. Spacious too! I would recommend making a reservation or giving your name and then going to check out the garden store.

This was my second experience at Terrain. We went on a Friday at 12.30 (reservations are a must). It was very crowded. We had the worst service I have ever had. Evidently our waitress was new & didn't have a clue. I had to get up & go to the bar & complain just to get our beverages after waiting an hour for an iced tea & a cappuccino. Our lunch came at around 2 pm & was brought by the manager, again after complaining that we weren't getting any service. She was lovely & apologized & did comp us for a good portion of our meal. The food is good & very interesting so I would go back but not at 12: 30. I think late afternoon would be better.

Food was about average and rather pricy. Service was okay and the dining space is inviting and attractive. I had a similar experience at a Terrain location in Fairfield Connecticut several years ago, it's kind of fun but not great. An interesting variety of merchandise in the shop but once again it was very pricy.

Excellent atmosphere! The food was delicious. Drinks were great. The service was a little slow but sometimes in life we need to not expect everything right away. The staff were all friendly and happy to accommodate.

This was my second time at Terrain. The first time I ordered crab quiche. It was flat, lacking in flavor, dry and burnt. It was taken off of our bill. Last night I ordered mushroom soup for an appetizer. I had to send it back two times because it was just warm. The third bowl was almost hot. It was very tasty. My main course was disappointing. The manager inquired about the meal because our server told her about the soup. I should have been more honest with her. The shrimp were fine, however the charred broccolini were too charred, and the harissa turnips were dry, rubbery and some were burned. I don't think I'd be willing to give it a third try. It's really too bad, the atmosphere is lovely, and there aren't many choices around for exceptional food

Went for brunch and absolutely loved everything about Terrain. From the atmosphere, service, drinks and the food it was perfect!
