Thai Cuisine reviews
18The food was okay. It was not as flavorful as other Thai food I've had. The ambiance was what missed the mark. There are so many tables so close together that it was too loud inside the restaurant. Also the wait time was exceptionally long, it took about 1 hour after ordering the food to arrive.
Our first time dining here was amazing! Our food was fresh, flavorful and delicious. The staff is wonderful and attentive. This place is a gem! I can’t wait to come back!
I’ve loved this place for the last 9 years. Outstanding in so many ways! The food, service, ambiance, food allergy knowledge. I even had my wedding rehearsal dinner there and it was phenomenal. Highly recommend!
I am only giving three stars based on service. It took far too long and we were the second table in for dinner. Over 40 mins to get appetizers and Thai Tea, which had little flavor. The salad advertised peanut dressing it was vinegar dressing with little peanut in it. The curry chicken should have had a mild spice level however it was like eating a sugary cream based meal…I do low sugar and had a headache before leaving. The waitress did not ask how our meal was and that’s understandable considering she was all alone. I haven’t been here in years and my memories were much better than the reality and we will not return.
While I understand it’s hard to replicate the true thai street food of Bangkok, Pattaya or Phuket… this is a watered down version that tastes more like cheap Chinese food vs the 53$ I paid for 2 chicken pad thai and 1 order of spring rolls… utterly disappointing
I'm only giving three stars because the customer service was great.
The food was the most inauthentic Thai food I have ever had. It was bland and not spicy. Even the hot sauce we asked for was barely medium. And the Thai iced tea had granulated sugar on the bottom and whipped cream with cinnamon on the top.
The food was not bad. It was fresh and edible. But it was not Thai.
There is outdoor seating that is dog friendly.
They were able to make some dishes vegetarian.
I have been to many Thai places. This was.ok. I wouldn't call it Thai unless you want super super mild. Like.white bread kind of mild.
Did not expect the food to be that good. Funny little restaurant, but dang that was the best curry I’ve ever had.
I’ve been here multiple times and it is DELICIOUS. The drunken noodles are my favorite - but everything is worth a try - especially the crème brûlée. It’s not what you’re expecting (and is pretty heavy) but it’s so good.
Very good dishes. I had the day's special curry shrimp, apps and hot Chi tea. Couple next to us enjoying anniversary (this was site of their first date) with a bottle of champagne (byob). Lovely quiet atmosphere.
First off, get the green curry! It was utterly delicious and I just wanted more and more. Secondly, the place is so cute! A converted house that is inviting and warm. Thirdly, the owner is wonderful and you can tell really prides herself in the food and your experience. BYOB so bring some good wine and have some great food.
Wonderful place to have dinner with my hubby.love Dow she is awesome and the food is always delicious
Great atmosphere, byob, and the vegetables and shrimp were cooked perfectly. However, the food lacked the spices and flavors that authentic Thai food usually has. We'll return for the tasty appetizers.
I have been to many Thai places all around the country and this is not authentic at all. Don’t waste your time. I had chicken and shrimp Penang and nothing but veges with 3 shrimps and 7 cubes of chicken. I also ordered Thai ice tea and it taste nothing like a real Thai ice tea. I had to exchange it for a coke. The pad Thai my daughter ordered had nothing but veges and my wife pineapple fried rice was soggy. They are very cheap with the shrimp in their meals. Don’t recommend at all
We had a wonderful dinner for our 20th wedding anniversary tonight…. We decided to bring our kids along but with traffic we were late- they were so gracious to our party of 6 from the appetizers to the tea and fabulous entrees it was a 10 all around and they never rushed us one. Thank you…we have been coming here for 25 years and it’s just simply the best food around!
I have never ever had Chicken Curry this great ever. She is the best and her desserts omg they too are so freakin good. I live in York now and miss her food. I use to work for her on 8th and Walnut many years ago. I miss you guys. God bless.
We ordered through a delivery app, and at. 22 dollars for coconut curry and 10 dollars for soup, we were expecting alot more in both quantity and quality. Barely any rice, barely any soup, some veg and chicken, in a very bland sauce, which there was also very little of. Flavorless and WAY too overpriced. You're better off going somewhere else.
Our meals were awesome! Great to be there again. One of my favorite places for lunch and dinner.
