Pad See Ew was thin and long noodles and not the traditional that other Thai restaurants serve

Food is good I hope they have more food for the people whose allergic to pineapple and hot spices.

All the years I have been traveling and food blogging, I have never encountered a server who was not nor tried to be accommodating.

I requested the sauce on the side because I have to watch my sodium intake. She went back and forth with me saying the cook can only stir fry everything together. I explained to her that’s incorrect. I always get my food steamed and sauce on the side. She then said the sauce is raw and must be cooked together. Ummm.you cook the sauce separately if that’s the case. Instead of her going to the kitchen and asking.she assumed she knew the right answer. Being in the hospitality industry over 47+ years, you do your best, within reasonable request, to accommodate your guests. I paid for my appetizer and calamari and went down a few doors to Fortune Cafe:) No problems at all!

HAIR IN MY FOOD
Ordered the chicken fried rice with pineapple, as a first time customer. Got my food to work and opened it to find a black curly hair sitting in my food. I threw the whole thing away because i was repulsed. $14.00. I called to complain and was told id have to come in to get my money back, or they would have to refund the whole order, and re-charge my card minus the $14.00. I found this outrageous. This was on my coworkers card, and I was not going to have them refund and charge again, it was a large order and you know it takes time for the refund to come back to the account! Will NOT order here again.

I recently ordered takeout from Thai Wat and was blown away by the quality of the food and the excellent vegetarian options. I ordered the mixed veggie & tofu options which included drunken noodles, pad thai, and basil fried rice, along with some veggie rolls to start. I ordered all the items at level 3 spicy, and they did not disappoint. All the dishes were amazing, especially the Basil fried rice which was bursting with flavor. The Drunken noodles and Pad thai were also outstanding, with just the right amount of spice. The Veggie rolls were decent but not particularly memorable, although they were a nice appetizer. What really stood out to me about Thai Wat was their willingness to accommodate substitutions for vegetarians. As a vegetarian myself, I always appreciate restaurants that make it easy to customize menu items. Thai Wat was very accommodating and made it easy for me to get the dishes I wanted without any meat. Overall, I highly recommend Thai Wat for anyone looking for delicious Thai food, especially vegetarians who want a variety of options. The portions were generous, the prices were reasonable, and the quality of the food was outstanding. I can't wait to go back!

My mother and I dine here fairly often, and it's by far our favorite Thai restaurant in Berks County. The service is always great, the pricing is fair, and the food is outstanding. We're both vegan, so we typically order the Tom Kha soup, the corn fritters, and the massaman curry (which is BOMB). I highly recommend!

Just had dinner here for the first time this evening, and it blew me away. Every time my husband took a bite of some thing he had to say “Wow”. Everything was super delicious and the wait staff was very nice. I had Chu-Chee Duck and a beef soup! Definitely eating here again!

Excellent food. We got take-out. One of the curries and one of the specials. Also the coconut soup. The good was great and tasted authentic. It was our first time there and we will definitely be back. Thank you!

We have dined at Thai Wat several times, both as a couple and also with larger family groups. The service is always very attentive and the food is exceptional. My wife is Thai and is an excellent cook, so when she says "Very good" it really means something!

Thaiwat is one of my go-to Thai spots! Their Jasmine soup is to die for! My regular order usually includes massaman curry and drunken noodles! The flavors and service definitely deserve 5 stars!
