The 1905 Tavern, Scranton PA

This place is one of those hidden good ole neighborhood bar thats away from the downtown city life. Great bartenders and cold drinks, the pizza is especially the sweet sauce. If you love the good old neighborhood bars with great food, than this place is for you!

Had the pagash pizza and steak and cheese tonight and it amazing definitely recommend it can't wait to order again

Great local bar. Good people and Skippy is a FABULOUS bartender. We are "day drinkers", so the crowd may be different from the later crowd.
Had the pizza for the 1st time.delish.variety of sauces and cheese, so you can customize it to your taste. Dough is made daily, which is a notable difference.
In my humble opinion, great bar. Comfortable atmosphere to have an early beverage!

What a great afternoon out for some cocktails and pizza. Their cheese blend and fresh crust was absolutely delicious. Friendly bartender making great drinks. Prices are reasonable. Cannot wait to return. Beautiful, clean bar with great people, food and drinks.

As someone who has lived in 8 countries in the world and 21 states in the US, I have been to countless bars, restaurants, fine dinings. It's not always the fancy stuff that makes a bar great. It's the people who run the place and the people who visit it.

I know 1905 when it was Daddy's and the Bacwals. It used to be a regular place for pool players. It was a smoking bar and there used to be a sign on the jukebox which said no R&B.
Shawn has changed all of that. It has a great atmosphere and great people. It is no longer a smoking bar and the bartenders are an amazing bunch.
Please visit this place if you going out!

Neighborhood bar that has been a staple to the local community and beyond. Recently renovated, the improvements are awesome, and the food will be as well. Coldest beer in the area served by the best bartenders.

Absolutely love what they did with the place it's about time we are a neighborhood bar with wonderful people that raised their children here for 40 years plus absolutely love the mural on the back wall of the 1905 tunnel absolutely gorgeous you have to see this place good for you guys Sean Gill, Sean Morgan awesome job.

Wow, what an upgrade from before. Huge improvement. Looks like it will be a perfect neighborhood bar for lunch in the day and a beer after work.
