The Apple Tree, Stroudsburg PA

Store staff were friendly and very nice, however, this store is truly an upscale boutique. So don’t ring the bell to gain entrance if you’re not packing a credit card with a significant available balance. They have some gorgeous things…. Just not in my budget strata.

I have been shopping at The Apple Tree for over 40 years! Sharon has been very much like a personal stylist for me. She understands my preferences and style and always makes wonderful recommendations.
I live 2 hours from the physical store and have enjoyed the Wednesday videos that are on social media. Everything the Apple Tree sells is of high quality and lasts. Working with Sharon and the incredible staff is always a joy-not sure where you
can find personal service like this anymore.

What a time we had shopping at The Apple Tree. My girlfriends and I, came into town for a girlfriend's trip to celebrate friendship and overcoming trials. We wondered into this gem of a store and to our surprise we all came out with many purchases. We all have different body types and sizes, but we did not feel alienated with the product line or offerings. It felt like the movie "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants", we could all fit something because of the size inclusivity.

This shopping experience was made even more perfect because our friend who had a serious medical emergency was able to see her self in the mirror and feel confident.

Thank you to the staff for the warm and inviting atmosphere. This is truly a shopping destination.

I’ve been shopping at the Apple Tree for 25+ years (since I was in my 20s). They have a little bit of something for almost everyone. Even my teenage daughter has found jewelry she likes in the store and recently bought a wrap. Sharon, the owner, cares deeply about her business and her clients. She’s been doing this so long that she can typically look at someone and instantly know what size and style will look best on them. All of the ladies at The Apple Tree are helpful and professional. If you’re looking for an outlet or knock off store, this is not the place for you. They are, however, more than happy to work within a customer’s budget, and you can often find something you like on the clearance or sales racks. All of their clothing is high quality, and any pieces you purchase will be treasured for years. They say you get what you pay for, and in both merchandise and customer service, that rings true for the Apple Tree, as they are top notch in both!

The clothing is very pretty but I felt very unwelcome by the staff. I was constantly being told that I’m “too young” (I’m 28 years old) for the clothing and felt like they were trying to push me out. When asked about a dress selection the woman quickly flashed 4 dresses and once again said I look “too young to shop here” (she said this maybe 4 or 5 times the 15 minutes I was in the store) and would be better off going to De Novo or the outlets in Tannersville. Well they got what they wanted, I will never step foot in this place again. Don’t bother trying to shop here unless you look old enough I guess?
