The Bakeshop on Twentieth reviews
15The BEST treats, baked and served by the SWEETEST people. I’m glad this place exists and overjoyed that I discovered it. They have unique medleys of massive cookies that will blow your mind. I crave their cookies all day, every day. Zero regrets. Happy to give these guys all my money. I would go poor for these cookies. Matter of fact, I will work for cookies. Cookie cookie cookie
The Bakeshop on Twentieth is a fantastic bakery and home to an incredible breakfast sandwich. It is well staffed. The team there quickly and politely takes your order and moves customers through the cozy store. There is no parking as expected for center city Philly. $50 total for two breakfast sandwiches, 4 large pastries, and a cold brew. Great selection and perfectly baked. Thank you.
Best breakfast sandwiches and service in town. Try the pop tarts on the weekend. Thank you Lisa
By far the best babkas and brown sugar Bundt cake I’ve ever had. Also feels like walking into a Hallmark movie every time. We love our neighborhood bakery!
Those babka chocolate muffins are to *cough* for! Make sure to arrive early in the morning to manage to get your hands on them or else call the day before and ask them to reserve you some!
This place can be extremely busy, but surprisingly the line moves quite fast and was a minimal wait despite starting to wait outside. Got the sugar cookie and smores bar. I’m a big sugar cookie person so that was really good! The bar crumbled a lot when eating but tasted good too.
Awesome BLT - best in the city. Literally everything they have is the best. The scones are heavenly.
Very unwelcoming environment- my partner was ignored when they entered the bakeshop and their order was never asked for. After waiting patiently to be acknowledged (5-10 min), another customer entered the shop and was promptly greeted and asked for their order. The blatant discrimination this business displayed is unacceptable and disgusting; never going back.
I love this place! It smells AMAZING. They have such a huge variety of pastries and breakfast sandwiches. They even have coffee too. And dog treats! There was a line out the door 10 mins before opening
This is my go-to local spot for coffee and a pastry. I love the wide variety of baked goods, the rotating special items, and the standard pastry options. It’s always difficult to choose!
It’s cute inside, and pet friendly. It’s usually bustling, and although there is a small indoor dining area, I prefer to get my coffee and treat to go.
Absolutely amazing baked goods (we tried four different things) but really rude staff. I won't go back despite the great stuff they make.
Best blueberry muffin I’ve ever had. Cute little shop that you can tell puts a lot of love into all of their offerings.
The chocolate babka here is heavenly! Every time I come here, it feels like a Hallmark movie. Love my neighborhood bakery!
The cookies here are so amazing! The staff are so helpful. They rotate what they sell, but special shout-out to the Italian ricotta cookie, the cherry chocolate chunk scone, the oatmeal raisin, and the tahini chocolate chip cookies for being my absolute favorites
Fantastic, friendly service and amazing food. The sticky buns are… wow! And if you are lucky you will meet señor Atkins
