Loved our experience at Barnyard Boys! I was looking for a beam to put in our living room to hide some ceiling blemishes and I found the Barnyard Boys after a quick search online. Stopped in to their place after seeing their website, about a 40 minute drive from us, and was blown away at the selection of beams. One of the guys in the yard showed me around and helped me pick out the perfect beam. Once found, they leveled one side for me so it would rest perfectly against the ceiling, then ran it through a steel brush machine and cleaned it up nicely. My wife wandered inside and fell in love with the flooring and tables that were on hand (all Amish made) and snapped a few pictures. She really loved one of the tables and after sleeping on it, we decided to go back the next day and grab the table before someone else did. Steve told us a little bit about the history of the table.all the wood came from an old barn that was torn down.floor boards from the barn were used to make the table. On the bottom side of the table, you can see some of the old oil stains from the tractors and indentations from the horses that walked on it daily. Knowing the history of the wood really gives it a soul, so to speak. The table looks great in our dining area and is an instant heirloom! The beam settled onto the ceiling nicely and compliments the table beneath. The best part.the price. It was more than fair and was easy to spend on something with local history vs.some foreign made junk that's found in the big box stores. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Steve and all the guys at Barnyard Boys! Just an amazing hidden gem.

We purchased a beautiful piece of wood that Barnyard Boys cut down to size and finished for us to make a mantle. We love it and the customer service and price was amazing. Highly recommend!

My wife and I purchased a custom 2" slab (boards glued together) with live edge from Barnyard Boys, sanded with no finish. We bought the legs separately and finished the table top with a matte sealant ourselves. Doing it this way we saved a ton of money (spent less than 25% of what we were quoted elsewhere for a complete table of similar design) while the end result is a beautiful piece of furniture that has a 200-yr history.
