the bean & biscuit, Greencastle PA

Don't expect much. I was mislead by the fake reviews. The coffee and food was just ok nothing great. Also Closed on Monday & Sunday and only open until 2pm on other days. WTH. No response needed.

We stopped in here in and got two shots of espresso to start. I got my shot con panna.espresso with a shot of whip cream on top. It took a bit to get it and it wasn't that busy. We got them. I walked back up for an espresso spoon that is usually served with espresso.and no one knew what I was talking about. It didn't really matter that much.we didn't make it through the espresso. It was very.very over extracted.crema was barely there, and there were grounds floating around in the cup. We ordered iced coffees togo.which were basically iced milks. Sooooo.that was definitely a bummer.

The inside is really beautiful with the color scheme, and exposed brick.very comfortable. Plenty of seating. They have a couch so that's a plus! There is a large sense of community here.so many vendor items to purchase. Jewelery, baked goods, knitted items, etc. I love that. It seemed to be LGBTQ+ friendly they also have gender neutral bathrooms. Not that I mind or care.but they were playing Christian music the entire time we were in there.which would deter me from dining in more often than not if that was the constant music choice. Just my personal opinion and some added info. We didn't try any food, but it did smell and look pretty good. I'd say if You're looking for a decent espresso/iced coffee try somewhere else.but definitely stop and check out the vendor items and food.

I absolutely love this place! Wonderful coffee and such kind-hearted workers. Despite what the review right before mine says, I love the Christian music you play! Don't change a thing. ;) Try their chicken biscuit, you won't regret it.

This was the perfect quick breakfast spot. Filling and delicious food, excellent coffee, warm and inviting atmosphere. Don't miss the latte specials by the register. We almost did! The biscuits and gravy looked and smelled amazing. We'll have to try them next time.

Had your sausage and gravy w/ biscuit this morning. The best I have had next to my grandmother's. Recommend an option to get extra sausage and gravy!)

It's okay. The coffee is decent and the atmosphere is nice. The food selection is definitely lacking, mostly mediocre sugary pastries. I wish they had healthier gluten-free options. But most of all, I wish they were open on Monday! I often feel on Monday morning like getting a jump start on my work week by getting some coffee out and starting work early, only to remember this place is closed!

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. My ladyfriend and I go there on Saturday mornings. Service is great, and love the food. The special treats (cakes, cookies, etc.), are baked right there.

I do not normally eat breakfast but when The Bean & Biscuit opened we wanted to try it. It did not disappoint. Such great sandwiches and gravy. I loved the herb biscuits and fresh coffee. I had to go back again to make sure I didn't dream it. LOL. It was amazing. Now I find myself thinking about breakfast. This place is turning me into a person who loves breakfast. I'm looking forward to doing lunch there now. From the decor to the friendly staff it's the new hot spot in Greencastle. Well done Bean & Biscuit.

Love going here! Comfy places to sit and read or hangout with friends! The food is always yummy and the drinks on point.

Very cool spot! Great food and very impressed with the customer service! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating! Ambiance is very nice as well! I highly recommend stopping in here, you will be glad you did

The biscuits and gravy are so flavorful. The Frappuccinos are way better than any other's I have had and they serve them to you with the coolest biggest stars. Great atmosphere, and great people. Many thumbs up.

The food and coffee are fantastic and the employees are even better. A great place to spend your Saturday morning.

Greencastle has a gem of a coffee shop. On our latest travels, this was one of the highlights. Really good food and excellent Americanos.

There are many coffee shops in our area and the bean and biscuit may just be the best. The coffee is fantastic and their assortment of pastries and treats is great (my favorite’s the blueberry scone). Their staff is amazing too. If you have a free day and want a good drink, find the bean and biscuit.

Absolutely delicious sandwiches.frozen moca.amazing! The decor and atmosphere are so beautiful and relaxing! What a wonderful addition to downtown Greencastle!
