The Bellamauro Social Banquet Hall, Reynoldsville PA

Here for an RC semi truck event. Decent little social hall and fun event.

I had a lovely meal with like minded people, and the comedian was very good! Laughed a lot! Great decorations and very friendly staff! Loved it!

So, recently, I had the privilege of attending a friend's wedding at the Bellamauro Social Club and I personally hope that the bride and groom were too busy looking in each other's eyes to notice some of the things this venue had going on.
Now, let me start with a few potives before I start pointing out issues. The area is limited on venues, so having ANYWHERE to go for an event like this is a bit tricky. This place has been a local spot for lots of events, from weddings to dances, parties, and even just a regular bar crowd. Overall, they do a lot of good for the area. With that being said, I am hesitant to let this place have it with both barrels. Times are tough, and having staff and day to day management is always a challenge. Finding people who are trustworthy and reliable and clean is not an easy task. That being said, those were the exact things that had many good employees leave in the past. Having seen who was there that night, I see they have finally hit the bottom of the employee pool.
Are we ready for the bad now?
Ok, here goes.
So let's start with the fact that they sorta get you coming and going. First you have to pay to rent the hall, which makes sense. But being forced to also pay for them to cook is also a bit odd. However, being told that no outside catering was permitted is a bit of a ridiculous. Especially when the quality is what was served that night. I suppose the reception could have been had WITHOUT food, but I'm not real sure why anyone would be ok with that. Tho, like I said, this area is pretty limited on venues. So if you don't like it, you can go someplace else, right?
Anyway, moving on, we have the decorations.if that's what they can be called. They probably were quite stylish at one time, but it isn't 2000 anymore, and it isn't subtle. I did sorta get the impression they probably didn't do a lot of events these days, that or they have some of the fastest spiders in the county as cobwebs were absolutely everywhere. In lights, around banners, around decorations, on and on and on. So the question is, are they infested with arachnids? Or are they just careless enough not to bother to clean thoroughly enough between events? I'll leave that up to you, dear reader.
One thing that did sorta worry me was the fact that the concrete floor would actually shake when people would walk on it. Sorta like it was wood.and maybe it was, but if it was, why was it moving so much? I'm not sure concrete should move when people stomp across it.but hey, what do I know.
Having a staff member go around with a trash bag was sorta a smart idea, helps keep the place from getting too dirty, and having too much a mess to clean after everyone leaves. I'm just not sure doing so five minutes after you first started serving drinks. It was really that necessary, but what can ya do.
Again, I'm trying not to be too harsh as this family has other businesses in town that I have yet to visit, and I don't want one places bad reputation effect the other.
But rest assured. I will be there at some point.
In conclusion, I would like to extend an apology to anyone who has had an excellent experience here. Perhaps it was just a bad night for them.but there is a limits to how many or how long those bad nights can happen.

I've been there for 3 different events.nice place for gatherings. Only complaint.no cell phone service while IN the building.lol (But not their fault!)

Been to a few parties here and they always do a great job. The food is always outstanding and the service is top notch.
