The Belvedere Inn reviews
18Excellent food, and our waitress was excellent. She was very polite, knowledgeable, and very accommodating.
How can you describe perfection? This was the 2nd (and not the last) time I was blessed to partake in the perfect dining experience! Thanks to Lindsey who was attentive beyond words, made our wonderful night to celebrate a parent’s 83rd birthday, amazing. The food was outstanding, the drinks perfect!
Simply amazing place. Great food and incredible cocktails. A great date might spot. Highly recommend.
This restaurant never disappoints! Jimmy was an excellent server and our meals were delicious! Our appetizer Lobster Crab dip was delicious and nice size to share! We will be back!
Went there for a birthday celebration. Aside from being cold inside the food, and waitress were great. Love the lamb and salmon! The whole staff was polite.
Will go again soon!
Spent approximately $70 per person excluding tip.
Fabulous drinks, devon who works bar, makes amazing drinks, especially espresso martinis which is my favorite next to the chocolate martini.
Former employee - they handle desserts with bare hands kitchen staff uses racial slurs and waiters often make fun of customers do not go here
Always awesome but last night I had the best New York strip I have ever had! Thanks again!
Amazing experience. The cocktails were delicious. Try the million dollar martinis. We split the special it was a ribeye steak. Cooked to perfection! Tate was an amazing server. If you've never been you must try.
Update: The most consistently good meal in Lancaster. Period.
I am not one to write reviews but this place absolutely deserves one!
We had such a wonderful experience.
My husband and I do not get to go out much. We were celebrating our 4 year wedding anniversary.
I was able to snag a last minute reservation day off due to a cancellation. I had called the day prior and they had nothing which was a great sign. The woman I spoke to said to call the next day around 1pm after they do confirmations and see if anything opened up. It was our lucky day!
The food, the service, the ambience was GREAT! They had a cute little sign on our table wishing us a happy anniversary.
We literally finished everything they brought out, and somehow managed room for dessert which was amazing as well!
We will definitely be back!
We came with a large 20-person party, and the service and food were still spectacular. The place is expensive, but worth it for a celebration. The drink selection is varied. I had the bread for an appetizer and it was particularly noteworthy. Our table had a good mix of elk, duck, filets, and more. Everyone was thoroughly impressed by their meal.
My wife and I decided to try the Belvedere for our 1 year anniversary dinner. We have wanted to try this place for awhile but never got around to it. We both had a wonderful evening. The staff were all very friendly and polite. Our waitress was great and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. The food was great and cooked well. I had the elk and my wife the short ribs. Both were tender and flavorful. We enjoyed the atmosphere and ambiance.
Celebrated our Anniversary tonight at the Belvedere. Everything was absolutely wonderful! Food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. Highly recommend paying them a visit!
Simply put; OUTSTANDING! From folks at check-in to our server, Evie, to the stellar kitchen staff, the Belvedere Inn is a must dining experience. Loved the ambiance of this space. Great Happy Hour at the bar only, if that is your deal. Third time here with intentions to return.
I had not dined at the Belvedere in a while, but I was happy to see that the grilled caesar is still on the menu. It was as amazing as I had remembered. The cocktails were strong, and the food (including the bread and especially the butter) were on point. Hands down the best meal I've had in Lancaster recently. The atmosphere is cozy and not too loud even with a full dining room. Can't wait to go back again when I'm in town.
The atmosphere is horrible.too many tables in a small area. Couldn't hear each other across the table. Felt like we were having dinner with everyone in there. We were there for a special birthday. Just 2 of us. Too dam expensive to share with 6 other tables in the same room. Too loud, horrible place. Spent $180. +!
Will Not Be Back.
The Belvedere Inn represents a sophisticated and contemporary dining establishment, featuring two well-appointed bars, both upstairs and downstairs, that excel in crafting impeccable martinis. The menu at this establishment is characterized by its commitment to utilizing fresh, high-quality ingredients. If you are in search of an elegant, romantic dining experience in the heart of Lancaster City, I wholeheartedly recommend visiting The Belvedere Inn for a delightful culinary experience.
This is my third time here and the food everytime has been subpar and overpriced. A lot better places to eat in Lancaster area. The jazz music has always been nice, cocktails have been better. Sent back one tonight and the second wasn't balanced either.
Server tonight was poor. She was rude, short and treated us like we were wasting her time. Literally said "now you want a drink" when my husband ordered one. I asked her to keep a knife on the table to butter bread and she told me I already had butter on my bread.
The house is beautiful and I hope the Server takes the time off she needs to be able to recover and not be so rude to the community she serves.
