The Big Dipper Lodge, Coudersport PA

I was visiting family who rented the lodge. This was my first time in the lodge. I really enjoyed it and it was cozy plenty of room for us to chat in one area and play board games at the huge table. The bathroom was small but quaint. The porch was great for chatting before we left for the night. Can't wait to see my husband's family up there next year!

My friends and I came here for a vacation in July, and this house is surrounded by forests. It has left a deep impression on me! I love everything here—the winding mountain roads, beautiful meadows, vintage outdoor grill. The host has thoughtfully provided all the essentials, from kitchen facilities, utensils, recreational equipment, and barbecue grill to toiletries. Despite a power outage in the entire town due to a thunderstorm during our stay, the host still came in the middle of the night, driving over to bring us flashlights! It touched me deeply. One of my friends brought a service dog, However, as it was our first time leaving the city and the familiar environment, the service dog experienced stress and left urine stains on the carpet. Although we cleaned it immediately and used pet odor elimination spray, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to the host. In conclusion, this is a beautiful vacation home with great value for money, and the host is warm and friendly! I genuinely recommend this place!
